J and his crew were amazing. They were professional, efficient, careful of my belongings and communicated throughout the way. They made an otherwise-stressful time of moving much less stressful by their care and attention to moving and storing my items. I highly recommend their services.

I had a full pack and move provided by new employer, which was great... Outside of the fact that at some point over $1000 worth of video games "went missing". Everything that was delivered was delivered in good shape, but it was an overall disappointing experience due to this breach of trust.

I called them and due to the items I needed moved they actually suggested another company that would suit my needs more. What a classy and professional thing to do! I was very impressed. Next time I move (hopefully never!-haha) I will be calling these guys.

We are in the middle of a move with Mohawk right now and it is not good. They packed up and loaded our goods and we were told everything would be delivered 3 days ago. Then, they informed us that the truck was too full because someone else on the same load took more than they estimated, and they no idea when our things will show up - could be a few days could be weeks - no idea. We paid cash in advance to book the date - no problem I get that; however, they failed to follow through on their side and won’t commit to when things will arrive. Moving is stressful enough - don’t trust them to make it less so.

I would not recommend Mohawk. We are in the middle of a move right now and they have failed to deliver on basic service. they were supposed to deliver one week ago, and not only did they fail, but now they say they have no idea when everything will arrive. they were very prompt in taking cash up front for the move. I wish they were have that diligent in delivery out household. So now we sit in our new home with nothing in it. and spending money everyday in dishes we don't need , clothes we don't need, etc because none of our stuff is here. so far they have offered no commitment or financa support.

Our move went as smoothly as possible. The crew, Emetano, Chris, Kevin, Hector and Brady were great to work with. They asked questions to make sure our possessions were protected and wound up were we wanted them. They listened to our requests and concerns and were happy to oblige or offer professional advice. Considering our experience in trying the DIY approach to moving, it was worth every penny. All in all, we couldn't be happier.

we recently moved with Mohawk and it was the worst experience moving that we have ever had. We had 110 articles of damage. the packers didn't wrap items individually. our new home was not prepared with carpet film or staircase wrapped. the unloading was handled by people from a Facebook ad with no experience. mud was tracked onto our new carpet. the claims process drug on for past 5 months even though we had purchased the insurance. will never use them again!!

Highly recommend Mohawk Moving! They had AMAZING communication through the entire process. The team worked fast and efficient. They took extra steps to protect our things during the move too. We felt that they got to know our family during this time and could tell they cared about making this move a seamless process for us. Very grateful for Larry Regenscheid, Sarah Adams, and their team.

Used Mohawk to move and it was the worst move I experienced. Items that were packed were not wrapped individually. For the delivery, I was told the floors/carpet would be protected and the stair rails wrapped. The house was not prepped and mud was tracked in on brand new carpet. The unloading crew were hired off a facebook add. They were inexperienced, damaged items as unloaded, and dented entry way walls. Boxes market fragile were on the bottom of a box stack as transported. Driver was ill equipped with items like lifting straps to handle our oversized furniture. When loading truck, too much weight was stacked on top of patio table which collapsed breaking all the legs. When unloading, handtruck was not padded, items laid on the concrete walk or dragged causing damage. Movers complained I was slowing them down because I was tracking items on the manifest as I was told to do. Had to stop unloaders from carelessly using blades to remove shrink wrap on furniture.Marble dresser top was not crated, oriental wool rug was not shrink wrapped and was laid on a wet driveway (total loss), concrete garden sculpture unpadded and arrived completely fractured. We have moved multiple times and from this experience will not use Mohawk/United again. Claims process still ongoing...

Used them to pickup packaged household belongings, store them for about a week and ship/unload belongings in new home. First truck couldn't fit the load so they called for a second truck, which showed up late and 2/3 filled with another customer's load. When delivered to new home discovered broken glass cabinet door, broken antique glassware, etc which they wrote up for insurance claim and then they disappeared. All the wrapping of your belongings won't protect your belongings from how they handle your belongings!

Crammed furniture into a storage unit. No pads on the furniture, items were totally unprotected. The movers were suppose to place items in 3 different storage units according to color coded boxes, furniture, and other items. Of course they claimed we were at the storage units which we were but could not be in two places at once. We were hoping for a better outcome but i have 1/3 of my Christmas tree because it was not put in the climate control unit. It is buried someplace in the non climate control unit. That unit is stacked to the ceiling and the movers blocked the back door to the unit with either furniture or boxes on top of the lip of the door so it can not be raised. We had to hire our own movers to move everything for the unit and sort accordingly and move back into the storage unit. A total fiasco.

I am revising my review in light of the final settlement with the company. I have now a very mixed review of Mohawk Moving. The actual moving team was efficient and friendly. The real problem arose from the fact that I needed to have Mohawk store my belongings for about 3 weeks. The storage facility must have been badly operated judging by the amount of damage to our boxes, and also by the outright loss of some of our furniture. Several lamps were badly damaged and wood tables were scratched or scuffed, and worst of all they lost two chairs from a kitchen set and a heavy duty two-wheel hand truck.To their credit, Mohawk paid to have the scratches fixed on the wood tables and reimbursed me for two of the lamps. However, I found it unacceptable that they refused to acknowledge responsibility for the loss of the chairs and the hand truck. They simply dismissed my claim without any legitimate reason. Since they have demonstrated a significant lack of integrity, I cannot recommend them as a mover.Shawn and Ray's team was great to work with. Hard workers, courteous and careful. We had a little bit of damage to a few items, but I think that occurred during the 3 week warehouse storage - certainly not by the moving team. They were very careful about not damaging walls or woodwork.

Bob K , the sales guy, was outstanding. Also, the team who picked up my stuff were great, and amazing hard workers. BUT Sarah A my "moving coordinator" was incredibly incompetent. My move was from MN to AZ, so the communication was critical. When I first spoke with her she sounded like we'd be in constant communication, and I'd know what was going on every step of the way. My experience was the opposite of that. MULTIPLE, times, I'd try and contact her, both by phone and e-mail, and no response, even after 48 hours. Her excuse was that she was having "computer and phone issues". If this is true, Mohawk needs to set her up with the tools so she can do her job. Bt, I'm skeptical she was having these "issues" Luckily, many of these times Bob was able to help. In one of her e-mail responses she sounded put-off because I was asking for a status. She seemed unaware that if she was out of the office, the professional thing to do, is to leave an auto-reply, with who her back-up was. Even down to the last day, the movers called me to tell me they were on there way, she gave me no ETA. As I mentioned, Bob K is amazing, but if you get assigned Sarah A as your moving coordinator INSIST that you have someone else.

Updated: To the management - I respectfully disagree with your characterization below. The issues are still not addressed.We chose Mohawk partly due to other's very positive reviews. Maybe we got the "C Team", but our experience has been totally different. Lost contact information, damaged goods (including a piano), and slow (and condescending) customer service make it very hard for me to give Mohawk anything more than two stars. I'm still waiting for a response from the president who said "he's looking into it".
