Higher prices, but amazing quality. My house plants from here have always thrived, even in my baby plant mom phase. Great products and service.

I've been to most, if not all local plant nurseries, in the twin cities. Mother Earth continues to be the one I truly cannot leave empty handed! And it's not because they're pushy (not at all), but because they have such variety. My collection consists of a large percent of their plants, pot, soils, soil additives, pest control sprays, etc. They have fair prices, a large selection, and staff that are sooo helpful with any plant related questions. They also do indoor and outdoor plants which is nice for people that do one, or both! Highly recommend and go regularly.

Love it here. It smells so nice. There are a ton of indoor and outdoor plants and pots to choose. They also sell gardening supplies and little gifties. Staff is always super sweet.

Love Mother Earth! Awesome staff, good selection, and certainly a notch more ethical in their business than your average retailer. Prices are on the higher side but so is their concern for sustainability and good horticultural practices.

Have shopped here several times now. This place has never felt very welcoming. We are new gardeners, and find coming to the shop pretty overwhelming. We hoped to get some questions addressed through the store staff, but we found ourselves almost never given an opportunity. All the times we had come in, we wandered pretty aimlessly waiting for a staff member to be available to ask for help. Many times, they are either avoiding eye contact with myself and my spouse or asking every other customer if they need help. There was just one instance of where we did get help from the staff, which is why I am giving it the rating it's getting as that particular service was helpful.I'm of the belief we are generally dismissed because we don't fall into the demographic of the majority of their customers. We ended up finally giving up on trying to shop here and went to a gardening shop in New Brighton. Service there was vastly more helpful and accessible.

Loved this quaint but full plant lovers paradise. Visited in the winter with many different size and variety of indoor plants. A whee bit pricey, but appropriate for the swanky stylin store and it's location. Loved the mini fairy plants - many succulents, plant pots, plant decor, some statues, garden accessories. Will return indeed!

Starting in the spring they have the most beautiful and unusual plants. A lot of them you can see at some other nurseries, however the colors of say, some of the begonias, are very unusual. They are also very healthy plants and they don't die out on you after a week being outside. The gals in there are awesome people and very friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone. The only downside is the on street parking however you can get help when you need it.

Having a local plant store is like having a green thumb extension. This store has lots of small items that are for a beginner to just start with a sweet little something. But the true wonder of this place is the healthy environment of the plants they are growing, caretaking, and creating. They will take the time to understand your questions, and they’re just downright sproutsy-cute.
