I had called the other Mother Earth Gardens to see if they had charcoal which they did not, but they told me the other Mother Earth Gardens did have it in stock and recommended I visit them. I had been there before and like it enough, it's just further than the other location. I appreciate the outside space they have, although visiting in the winter, there wasn't much outside which is totally understandable. The staff were kind enough, asking if I needed anything. I did find some of the prices a bit steep but not for everything so can't complain. They have lots of goodies besides plants also as well as lots of goodies from small businesses! They also had a couple cats roaming around, very well behaved. And a sweet in memory of poster for what seemed to be a previous cat who resided there. Will return when in the area.

I really love this local plant shop. The employees are kind and helpful, the music is good, and Simon and Eddie the cats are my favorite. I’ve gotten gifts here on three different occasions and they always have what i need for an extraordinary price. I got a Hoya starter for my sister for only $6. I like the variety of plants and accessories, including local and sustainable options. I’ve only been during the winter but can’t wait to come back during the spring and summer seasons. ?

I always make a point to stop by when I'm in the area. Love their house plant and pot selection. I also really appreciate the wide variety of native plants that they have available. They have all the native staples plus many more that are less common at other larger local garden centers.

Not very helpful or welcoming. The selection was nice and prices were generally good. However, it was like pulling teeth getting help or information about what products to get. We relied on google and some signage to figure out what to buy.

I don't understand the overwhelming positive reviews, but we all have different experiences. Mine has not been positive.+ 1-Star: The shop is only 5-blocks from my house. Convenient.+ 1-Star: They basically had what I needed. But there were things I needed that they did not have or were noticeably overpriced.- 1-Star: 'Visited the store because I needed to resolve a serious plant nutritional deficiency asap. I needed advice to make the best decisions. No advice was offered by any of the 3-4 employees nearby in the very small shop.- 1-Star: 2-days later I needed to return my items, but was abruptly told they couldn't make a return because of a state regulation. There was NO signage in the small section of the store that indicated that the items were unreturnable. I was told that the info was at the very bottom of the paper receipt I had received (in 5-point text). Seriously.-1 Star: The cashier became defensive and passive/aggressive saying that "I'm just an employee! The boss is gonna come down on me, but I'll make the return anyway!"Lady - your customers just need you to politely return the items and maybe they'll return in the future. Not me.

I went to purchase a number of plants. I located them, but could not find the hardiness rating on the info given. I went to ask for help and found two people who both turned me down because she was working with hoses and another who said she was going to the bathroom. I guess they don't need any new customers.

I love this place. Great selection of plants, from annuals to perennials to natives. Don't miss the shop inside for fun gifts and a surprisingly large selection of houseplants. It can be a bit hard to maneuver through on busy days, but it is worth the trouble.

Everything I was told it would be! It’s so beautiful so many different varieties. I can get my specific herbs like Thai basil, Mexican oregano, lemon thyme, and rosemary! They have so many type of tomatoes, cucumbers, and leafy greens! There’s even variety packs and pots made up so you don’t have to think too hard. Definitely going back next week for some squash.

Fantastic variety of pots, plants, and plant accessories. I went before the outdoor section was open and was extremely impressed at all that fit into a relatively small space. Prices on pots seemed very fair for quality ceramic pieces, prices on plants were fair as well based on size and availability, plus factoring in that they are VERY well cared for. I bought 3 plants there and all are growing incredibly quickly and look so healthy. I'm excited to go back, and a little scared because I know I'll leave with a beautiful armful of plants again and I'm running out of space in my house!PS: pet the cats. They're so sweet.

Very nice garden shop! I bought a cute Burro's tail and an aloe. One very nice employee helped me pick out a pot and soil.
