i love this studio! one yoga holds a broad selection of class offerings from physically challenging to gentle + restorative. the environment is embracing, supportive, and diverse. it's also located in one of my favorite areas in the twin cities, seward neighborhood. highly recommended for the newest practitioners or those who are well acquainted with the path of all that yoga offers. there are classes, workshops, and events for everyone in their beautiful bohemian environment within the ivy building. be sure to check out the periodic sound bath offerings created by the amazing tamiko french, (a truly transformational experience).

Overall, classes are excellent! The space is beautiful and some of the best teachers I’ve ever had, are at One Yoga. Sometimes it can be a but tricky to reach someone, but that’s because they’re a non profit with few administrators, which is probably a good thing. Overall, very satisfied.

I love the One Yoga community. If you are looking for a space that does its best to reject the commodification and westernization of yoga, this is the studio for you. Definitely check out their workshops and wide array of classes. You won't be disappointed.

A group of people truly moving toward restorative practices; people of color in-need of access to the healing of bodily movement read thoroughly into their mission ;)

This is a beautiful studio with a meaningful mission. They also have a ton of classes to choose from with great packages and intro-offers. If you're on the fence about trying it out, don't be! I recently attended a sound bath and walked away not only feeling relaxed, but also hopeful and inspired.

Excellent yoga studio! Kind and knowledgeable instructors combined with a chill setting and dedication for increasing health and equity in Minneapolis and surrounding neighborhoods. If in doubt, check them out!

First, I'm very drawn to One Yoga because it's a non-profit with a social justice mission that they act on rather than simply making their statement and doing "business as usual" like we've seen with so many other companies and organizations. There's a fair amount of body diversity among instructors, regular Yoga for BIPOC Students sessions, and a free month intro offer for new BIPOC students, all of which tells me they actually believe in their mission statement. They offer sliding scale memberships without making you jump through hoops to prove that you deserve support. I'm not sure what the market is like for yoga studio memberships, but One Yoga's standard membership price seems competitive. I would absolutely say it's a good value, and I appreciate that there's also an option for a donor membership, which is $25 more than the standard and allows the studio to offer more discounts to those who need it (there are some other benefits of the donor membership but I'm not familiar with them).Next, the instructors. This studio has fantastic instructors who offer lots of variations and support so you can customize your practice based on your needs, preferences, and skill level. I love how many different classes and instructors are available and every instructor has been very welcoming and seems to make an effort to get to know students. I've had one instructor email me a livestream link and add that she's glad we keep running into each other, which makes me feel welcomed into a community. I have especially enjoyed learning from James and Greg. Both have been extremely welcoming, personable, and infused humor and humility into their teaching. As bonuses, James has a lovely cadence when he speaks and Greg gives big Steve Harrington vibes (post-redemption arc).

One Yoga is one of the only studio's in the Twin Cities with instructors that are people of color. Their monthly, unlimited yoga pass is FAR more affordable than other studio's I've looked at. The space is lovely, the vibe is always wonderful.

Many class offerings with different yoga practices/styles and schedules available. Highly inclusive of people of color including free yoga sessions. Honors the traditions of yoga and talks about their conscious effort to not co-opt it/colonialize it.

I just started taking classes here. Far more affordable for me as a full time student than any other studio. I have loved it so far and am so glad I found it.

Just this week my girlfriend and I moved to Minneapolis together to start a new journey in the city we love so dearly. I have lived here before but she has not had the pleasure. All month before our move I raved about all of the exciting things Minneapolis was going to offer - and most notably - One Yoga. "We HAVE to try One Yoga to see if it's still as amazing as it was before - because if it is - we're going to have to get a membership together and go all the time"

Stopped in for the first time on a snowy February and was greeted energetically by Amanda. Been a member since. Everyone is very friendly! Highly recommend.
