I been trying to make a payment for my husband whole day today. I had to hang up and start all over with the BUNCH OF QUESTIONS!!! Now if I am the P.O.A and you guys see this on your screen. Why do I have to go threw multiple questions about ME!!! I'm just trying to make a payment!!! Not only that after you go threw the first operator, then you have to hold on for over 20 minutes for another operator to make your payments and ask questions again. This is BEYOND RIDICULOUS!! You guys need to come up with a better system!!!

The best way to let you know how bad a company is …is right here. The reps make it incredibly difficult to get a claim paid. Best way to finally get somewhere with this company is to file a complaint with the states insurance board.

Absolutely the worst financial institution we have ever had to deal with. We closed our account and have been trying to get our money for some time now. Each time we call, we get a different person with a different excuse. I have pursued BBB complaint as well as MN attorney general's office complaint. Hopefully I will not have to hire a lawyer and spend more money to get our own money.

****RiverSource is a horrible place to invest your money****. They will make getting any of your money out of your accounts the most horrible, antagonizing and complicated process of your entire life. They lose transfer papers and have 12million stipulations before they release a cent of your money. They want to keep collecting fees from your money. If I could give this company 0 stars, I would.

In dealing with them for a policy that my deceased mother had in her trust, I needed some info. Although I am the executor of her trust, because my name is not listed on any doccumentation, they refused to even acknowledge that they had a policy in her name. Did not even suggest that I forward copies proving that I am executor of her will. I understand confidentially laws, but they make it tough.

Our company has a mortgage through RiverSource. They do not send monthly statements so you can't reconcile your account until you receive an annual statement. There is no way to call them....NONE! Their statement is wrong and it's impossible to get anyone on the phone who understands the difference between a Home Mortgage and Car Insurance. I kid you not! Then he said he will transfer me...um, yes he transferred me to the abyss! Stay away from this company unless you feel you will never have a problem and you trust their accounting. (By the way I found a discrepancy in the Mortgage Interest) They cannot pull up our account, hmmmm.

This company is corrupt. They will give you the run around when you try to get your money. I have been trying for a month. They keep telling me there are papers that need to be signed. I send them and they say nothing. When I call they give me more excuses. River source investment is not a good company to invest your money.
