This is a mixed bag but overall very good. Sometimes the prices make you do a double take as a brand new one from a store costs about the same. But most f the time you can find some really good steals in the store.
I often think about the politics of stores as well and it does appear they are no longer ant-LGBT. IT is important ot me where my dollars go.
The staff is friendly enough for a store of this nature. Anyone expecting Four Seasons attention needs to check themselves.
I get tons of canvases for my art studio here at excellent prices. Almost don't want to tell people that!

They sell overstock or items that were returned to big box stores, unfortunately the price is often more than you can find them for online.

I've always been a fan of this business, especially this store, I do know 1st hand how it operates from start to finish (product out the door) and the hard work that the employees dedicate to assure the customer is satisfied, and I've seen employees work hard with smiles when they have gotten push back from bad actors, lots of respect, I personally have not had the chance to visit this store in about 10 yrs, when I moved away, but seeing it's only a 12min drive I and weather is getting nicer I really should pop in just to say Hi one of these days....keep up the great work....you guys and gals are the best!!💯💯🙏🙏

Pros.. Very clean and organized store. They have a lot of different items. Seems like new articles of clothing are on the top floor.. They have buy by the pound down stairs.
Cons.. It's over priced.. I rather go to the store and buy it brand new.. And the clothes still have the clearance stickers on them but salvation Army is selling them higher! Makes no sense. Do better.

This place used to be Amazing! The top floor had everything as ALL NEW items... which was awesome. Now they mix used items and clothing in with the new items and it's all basically priced the same. It feels and smells dirty now...I don't want to dig through it.
I used to spend hundreds of dollars consistently numerous times a year to do my shopping there. Now I don't want to bother... It's not a bargain and its certainly lost its magic.
It's ironic, they say they made the change because they weren't making enough profit... But it defenelty lost its trendy north loop market money, now. So it's bound to be a net loss... Especially when you can buy the same used clothes by the pound downstairs. It makes no sense.
I hope they switch back to their old model of operation and set prices in a way that keeps merchandise moving. Some of the prices were set higher than the same new merchandise at Target... that probably got them into a profit loss to start with. Hopefully they'll figure that out and try again, because it was an asset to the community.

Half a point for having dressing rooms, but most were closed and the remaining ones close at 4pm for some reason

I just had the best customer service experience with Athleta or Atheta (I think that’s how you spell her name, but I’m not 100% sure)! She’s an absolute gem, and she deserves a special shout-out.
I bought a vacuum today, and I didn’t test it, because when I opened the box in the store, everything was individually wrapped, so I assumed it was brand-new. Athleta rang me up and was so pleasant and helpful.
When I got home, I immediately assembled it, and I saw that there was hair and dust in it, so it had definitely been used— which was fine, but I was nervous it might not work. The assembly was going well until I discovered that it was missing its battery. At first I thought I could just buy a replacement battery, but my fiancé looked it up online, and the replacement would be $50-$80.
I decided to immediately go back to the store to return it, and Athleta was thankfully still there. She was genuinely apologetic about the lack of battery and asked if I had driven far to come back to the store to return it. She immediately worked with the manager to issue me a refund, and I felt so taken care of and valued.
She was working on a federal holiday (Juneteenth), and she treated me with such respect and consideration. Please give her a raise! She deserves it. I’ll definitely be coming back to shop here again because of this experience.

Just wanted to say the staff was wonderful when I lost my phone while shopping. A fellow shopping found it ringing and the security team helped me to use the find my phone feature I had.

Not worth coming to anymore. They're selling "consignment" items at practically brand new prices.

Visiting from out of town, I was excited to see this big store! I've never seen a salvation Army with two floors. But I was immediately stopped and given the third degree about my service, animal and my drum( I knew I looked strange because I was carrying the drum on my back which made me look kind of like a turtle), So I was patient and showed them DVA card. As a disabled vet of 20 years, this is the first time I've been treated so poorly at a salvation Army. I barely got my foot in the door. If you're a veteran, skip this store

A good selection of brand new items at good prices. I like the used stuff as well which is placed in bins. Staff is friendly.
