Called the cops on and ABUSED a young black man for petty thievery. Then mocked bystanders for having a heart and crying over such a brutal display? Get some perspective and empathy! Never coming back

This place has a history of racism against the black community and recently battered and threatened to break the bones of a Black kid who committed petty thievery. Please don’t shop here.

Well I went into the store to first be greeted by the horrible smell to start then on top of the things two out of three registers were closed. So which I am aware these things happen, so I proceeded to put the one bottle of water I was trying to purchase on the belt. The two women women working sat there and continued to have a conversation and did not say a hi hello one second nothing just kept talking like they are not at work and don’t need to ring me up just a very weird vibe would not recommend

Cheap meats, great meat specials and liquor all in the same space without the annoying walls and in and out stuff. Kinda like being in a normal state. A+

Been coming here since I was a kid. Very very glad to see this place still opening. Its one of my go to places to buy groceries. Great staff, very friendly, and my favorite the iconic marlin fish. Never got tired of seeing that.

I was falsely accused of stealing, an accusation that shook me to my core. It happened on a sunny afternoon while I was browsing through a local antique store. As I marveled at the intricate craftsmanship of a vintage pocket watch, the store owner suddenly appeared, his face contorted with anger and suspicion. He pointed an accusing finger at me, claiming that I had tried to swipe a valuable necklace from a nearby display case. Feeling a mix of shock, confusion, and indignation, I tried to defend myself. I insisted that I had done nothing wrong, that I was simply an innocent customer enjoying the store's treasures. But the store owner remained relentless, convinced of my guilt. As other customers looked on with curiosity and judgment,

Best little grocery/Liquor store in the city!! As opposed to what people say about “No Variety” they’re wrong! Tons of variety and products you won’t get anywhere else.A+ staff and service!Pro tip though, it’s not where you go to get your 2 weeks of groceries, that’s not their model.

What a post-war supermarket used to be. Family operated, local, not a warehouse, but pretty good selection, and carry some small local and premium as well as ethnic stuff. Unpretentious, diverse clientele and employees, a looser atmosphere than the chains, real conversations, workers can kid each other and not have someone tell them they aren't fitting the corporate image.Probably better than NE Lunds at rotating perishables and which uses misleading and inconsistent dating schemes.I'm especially impressed that if you need the manager, they give you to the owner. I had to speak to him twice about safety issues (neither within his control) : A brand of bottled red cabbage had a lot that was barely cooked and missing the vinegar - a setup for botulism. Unlike the chains, he understood the problem instantly and was already having the staff pull the items before I ended the call. The other - a charitable aluminum can drop he allowed a charity to set up at the end of his parking lot had been colonized by yellow jackets, and he was similarly proactive. What a business should be: A friendly, unpretentious place, with an owner that takes pride in the business and is professional and safety conscious.
