I don't remember the last time I was this happy with a haircut. Maeby is awesome! They asked a bunch of questions, made great suggestions, and didn't do anything until they were sure we were both on the same page. Super chill salon and everyone was very friendly and helpful.Service: Haircut

Terribly unhappy with the customer service at Steller Hair Company. I was scheduled for a haircut appointment but the stylist cancelled due to a health issue, which is fine. They sent a message via phone saying that they'll call and reschedule however nobody ever called. I had to call up and ask if there was another appointment. Even during the phone call there was no sorry or anything from the other side that my appointment was cancelled or nobody even tried to accommodate me with another stylist for a haircut. Their cancellation policy clearly indicates that if you cancel 24h before the day of the appointment, they reserve the right to take 100% of the service because their stylist's time is important. I wonder what the policy is when they cancel few hours before a customer's haircut because for Steller clearly the customer has lots of free time and nothing to do.

I don’t usually post reviews, but I was honestly so taken aback by what happened with such little time I feel like I had to say something. I didn’t even have the chance to come in and have my hair done because just doing the survey and my initial interactions with salon were negative. I called and inquired about having my hair bleached and a possibly fashion color being done. I just moved to Minneapolis and I’m a big fan of fashion colors and this salon looked like it specialized in color. They sent me a survey after my inquiry that was to be filled out with details of what wanted, pictures of me, inspo the whole nine yards and I was very excited, took pictures everything. I sent in the survey and was told I’d recieve my stylist and pricing information by the end of the day or beginning of next day. Several days passed with nothing. Then a week. After a week I called just to inquire about if they had chosen a stylist. I have a completely open schedule and budget so I thought maybe they were choosing between several stylists. I called back and the woman on the phone asks what I’m calling about and I tell her I was calling about my survey and I give her my name, and she asks me (even though I’ve already told her my name), “for Karen right?” My name is Victoria, which isn’t even close to Karen, which made it feel a little malicious but I brushed it off. She says someone marked my email as unread and that someone would get back to me before end of day. I was confused why they wouldn’t read an email for a whole week but I thanked her profusely and closed the call. Again, several days later, still no email, call or anything. It just felt unprofessional and like they were annoyed with me for even inquiring. I’ll be moving on elsewhere

Had good experience with them before. But this week I had to reschedule my appointment and things got sketchy - they do not make easy. There is no way to reschedule or cancel online, only over the phone. I called a few times and no one picked up. Left a voicemail more than 24 hours in advance of my appointment. They did not call me back until it was less than 24 hours from my appointment and told me that they will have to charge my credit card due to the late cancellation. I had to argue with the woman on the phone that I had left a voicemail earlier. They don’t need to be so sketchy about cancellations. Will not be going back.

My appointment started 30 minutes late, which was pretty frustrating. I'm not sure of the reason. This is mostly why I opted for 3 stars vs something higher.My haircut is nice, I think they did a great job. I'll probably go back the next time I need a trim and hope the timing is better.

I got a cut and partial foil. Nia was absolutely amazing. She took her time and truly cared about getting the best result possible! I will definitely be back to see her again!
