Loved my experience here! I was traveling when I booked, and the salon was extremely communicative over email, which made things incredibly easy. The salon has a cool, diverse vibe. My stylist, Briggite, was professional and supportive. Great value for the quality, too. I left feeling amazing and can’t wait to come back!

I was welcomed warmly and offered a beverage, which doesn’t happen often anymore! My hairstylist Danielle was kind, experienced, and did exactly what I wanted. This was my first time here and I will 100% be coming back for any and all hair needs! It was clean, cozy and welcoming environment and I feel like I got my moneys worth.

I had a fantastic time with Jackie! Honestly the best hair stylist I’ve ever had. We laughed the entire time and she even stayed a little past close to make sure my hair looked perfect. Definitely coming back!

This shop is incredibly cute, fairly priced, and they genuinely took the time to ask questions and match me with the best stylist for what I wanted done. Kate made my hair the most beautiful orange I've ever seen and was extremely fun to talk to while she did it! I cannot recommend this salon enough!

I was brand new to The Chair. The salon is very cute, clean and rustic. This was my first time going to a different stylist so I was a little nervous but Brigitte worked well with my crazy thick hair and gave me exactly what I asked for. She was very relaxed and personable and I would recommend her to friends and family.
Requested style: I requested to clean up my bangs and blend my layers into a short bob and Brigitte did exactly that.

Requested style: Pixie cuts / androgynous hairstyles can be hard to find a stylist for, which is part of why I’ve stuck with the same stylist for years. She knows my hair, listens to my requests and the desired outcome and makes it happen. She’s also funny to chat with and makes it a personalized experience, which is the other great reason to keep going back.

I live in a very small town in northern Minnesota and it's very difficult to get a haircut that feels and looks good to me. I used to live in South Minneapolis and was here on a vacation, so decided to schedule a haircut at The Chair. I may have to come back every 12 weeks! Kate was awesome!

Paula is an Incredible stylist. She took the time to listen to what I wanted to achieve for both cut and color and executed both beautifully. The entire service was also very enjoyable as she is so pleasant to talk to. I would recommend Paula to anyone - thank you for being a daymaker!
