There are plenty of places to store your stuff in this city—it can be difficult to differentiate. But when a place provides a free lock AND a free moving truck—hard to call that place the same as all the others. Those two little perks got me in the door, and Pat definitely made me confident that I had picked the right storage facility. He was professional enough to show me the two units I was waffling between and even remembered my name in passing when I saw him a couple days later—it's a small thing, but big in my book.
The Lock Up is definitely where you want to put that extra stuff you just can't quite part with—temperature controlled, great perks, and amazingly friendly staff.

Decent price. Good security. I picked them so I could use the truck. Oscar at the office is great. He‘s very proactive in his job and gave me all the information I needed about the facility and my unit. Great experience.

I attempted to reserve a storage unit online. First, the person assumed I was a man from my name and told me the lady (me) couldn't pick up the keys. Second, when I came to pick up the keys, I was told my lease hadn't been signed online even thought it had. Then, once I re-signed the lease (the person working there pushed all the buttons so I have no idea whether what he agreed to was what I had agreed to online) I was given keys and a lock and told all I had to do was make sure my code worked in the garage door, which it did. I returned about 2 hours later, after their business hours (which are only until 5, so good luck if you work a 9-5 and then need help) to put furniture into the storage unit. We had to unload outside the garage in the rain because the truck they rent out was blocking one of the elevators and someone unloading stuff who was apparently upstairs at their unit left their car in front of the other one. We unloaded, took a large couch up and found that the yellow dummy lock that was to be removed before we could move in never was. Thus we had to carry the couch BACK downstairs after trying without help to talk to "Customer Service" who didn't even know what I was talking about when I mentioned the yellow placeholder lock. In summary, don't do it. There's a Public Storage and U-Haul storage facility literally a stone's throw from this place where you'll get much better service. Still awaiting my refund that may have been charged twice since I had to fill out the lease twice.

They don’t tell you when sign up but they raise the rent on a regular basis. I started at $150 a month 2 years ago and now it’s at $220 a month.
If you need a lightbulb changed in your unit or just outside of your unit in the hallway that takes anywhere from 1-3 months.
Also, in the winter it is really cold inside. Uncomfortably hot in the summer.
The only positive is the friendly office employees.

Nice but a huge scam AND I had mice! My rent went from 200 at the onset of COVID to 475 in 2023!!! Definitely would NOT recommend!!!

Do NOT use this place!!! I rented a storage unit while I was living out-of-state, and when I returned to the storage unit...it was INFESTED with clothes moths. I rushed to tell the storage unit--but was then faced with an eviction. It was terrible. I called to protest the decision to evict me since there are OPEN ceilings to these units. The moths could have came from any one of the units around me and infested my belongings, but the owner of this place claimed "there are no occupied units around you" which I soon came to find was a lie. I peeked over the ceiling and there were units occupied next to me--also with clothes moths. I understand most storage units will automatically evict you if you have moths, but I can confidently say the moths did not come from me and if you store your stuff here you'll probably end up with an infestation, ruined items (I had to throw away multiple expensive rugs and furniture), and eviction when you least expect it. Fuck this place you guys made my life a living hell.

The lock up self storage is basic storage. Good security. Easy to find and the place is clean. The storage units are easily identified and it's easy to get stuff in and get stuff out. We used the storage to store things from my mom and dad as they downsized. We have now finished going through everything. Thanks the lock up. We will be back if we need storage in the future.

*Disclaimer* I haven’t personally used this place, but I helped a friend move items into their storage unit here over multiple days. I love that there is a perk of being able to have access to a moving truck if you sign up for a storage unit here! (Not positive on all the terms and conditions of it though). The place is very clean and the employee on duty during each time we stopped by was courteous, helpful and polite each time. Plenty of space to park your car, and each time we went there was enough space indoors to unload items onto the flat-bed carts that are available for your use whenever during their open hours. Felt very secure and well-kept. Would be nice if the giant garage door wasn’t quite as noisy as it is when it opens and closes, but not the biggest issue.

From move in, transferring to smaller unit, then move out, this was as efficient as it could get. I am legally blind, I don't drive so I have to arrange a lot. Move in was taken care of online. My unit was clean and lock was inside the unit. I was able to minimize stress and maximize efficiency. I was in contact with Stephen Golombecki, he was pleasant, helpful and very tidy in his office. From boxes to tape and shrink wrap, I was able to get everything I needed right there. A huge thank you.
