Thomas Lowry Park is a small, intimate, and beautiful neighborhood park that offers a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. The park features a well-maintained pavilion with grape vines, providing a relaxing setting for visitors. Although the fountain is currently under maintenance, the park's overall beauty remains undiminished. The park's picnic area boasts well-kept grass, making it an ideal spot for a casual picnic. Visitors can also enjoy the man-made stream that runs through the middle of the park, surrounded by beautiful houses and a glimpse of the downtown Minneapolis skyline. Despite some signs prohibiting swimming, the park is still a popular destination for families, with visitors occasionally bringing pool noodles and other beach gear. The park is also dog-friendly, though visitors must keep their pets on a leash to avoid complaints from neighbors. Overall, Thomas Lowry Park is a pleasant, quiet, and well-maintained green space that offers a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it a suitable venue for small weddings and a great place to relax, read, or enjoy the outdoors.
At the time of visiting the fountain is under maintenance but beautiful nonetheless. The pavillion with the grape vines is pretty and relaxing. Good venue for small weddings.
