We had little to no experience with suits and wanted to get something high quality for my husband for our wedding and to use many years after. John walked us through the process, the history, and gave us great insight into his craft. I recently moved back to Minneapolis and found a treasure that I hadn’t used in 30 years. Top Shelf Tailors. John is so easy to deal with, took my exact measurements down to the quarter inch and delivered way faster than promised on three exceptional shirts. he also recommended fabrics that are way better than I had thought existed. I would give it six stars.

They could not help me because I bought a suit somewhere else, however the woman on the phone with me spent 5 minutes talking about the best alternative COMPETITORS to go to. If that isn’t A+ customer service I don’t know what is.

I had a wonderful experience with John and the team at Top Shelf, who crafted for me a made-to-measure suit and custom shirt for my wedding. I had no experience with custom formalwear before going in for my appointment, but John made me feel right at home, giving me great advice and helping me make choices along the way while also following my lead and guiding me toward a style that worked for me. He was thoughtful, personal, and professional in every way, and was able to work with my schedule. And the clothes came out beautifully - I had no idea how it would feel to wear clothing that actually fit, and it made all the difference the day of my wedding. Before I did this, I never thought custom clothing would be for me; now, I can't wait to get back to Top Shelf and continue crafting a wardrobe.If you're in the market for beautiful custom clothing with a personal touch, I can't recommend Top Shelf enough.
