I’m not sure I would recommend bringing your car to this establishment. I was having a lot of problems with my car, which all I got fixed here. I’ve given them a lot of my hard earned money, and they treated me kindly as long as that was the case. I sent my car there to get a diagnostic test, and decided not to get it fixed again because the car wasn’t worth the cost of the repairs. When I received my car back it was not put back together as it was. There was a huge piece of the undercarriage covering sitting in the back seat, getting grime and grease all over the seats. Also causing the remaining covering under the car to be dragging on the ground. Looked under the hood and there were cables unplugged, and random parts just sitting on top. After being a customer of their’s for at least a year, I expected better treatment of my car. It has made selling it more difficult. Also not sure they do very thorough inspections, because I had the same mechanical issue happen after taking it there to get it fixed initially. They said it was caused by something else the second time, would’t guarantee the parts. Dana at the front desk is lovely, she was always very kind during my visits.

My car completely broke down on the side of the road with a bad alternator & Uptown Imports saved the day. Even though it was well past closing AND the day before a holiday John, the owner, was leaving as my tow truck pulled in and he re-opened his garage for me to bring my car in (as it was not drivable). This customer service only adds to the other great experiences I've had at Uptown in the last couple years. The team there has done magnificent work on my car, the reports they send you home with are invaluable for planning any remaining jobs needing to be done & Dana at the front desk is extremely helpful & able to answer all of your questions. I'm really glad I found Uptown Imports when I moved to Northeast.

Brought my Q5 here to get my breaks serviced after receiving feedback from a Jiffy Lube that my break pads were a hazard and needed to be replaced.
Turns out they didn't.
Thank you to Dana, for being honest & so understanding. Definitely will be bringing my car here when I actually need to have my car serviced. It's hard to find reliable and trustworthy businesses, Uptown Imports is one of the few left!

Owner is abrasive, very short with customers until you pay. I paid about 500$ in diagnostics that were initially quoted at 150$. 370$ for basic engine diagnostics that my personal mechanic did for free. Steer clear, they will use strong arm tactics to keep your vehicle and charge you hidden BS fees.

Friendly, approachable, and straight-forward. Will return with all of my vehicles. Also, the rates for services were much more reasonable than the dealership.

My Lexus was draining the battery every few days, and I had no idea what was causing it. They were able to quickly narrow down the issue to the heating element of my driver’s side mirror. They fixed it quickly and efficiently and for a fair price. It’s only my first experience but their expertise, fair pricing, and Dana’s excellent communication will likely make them my new go-to auto shop!

So efficient! They scheduled me within a 24 hours of my initial phone call (many garages I called had a 1-2 week window before they could see me) After drop-off the next morning, I was called within an hour with a full explanation of my car's issues and how much it would cost to fix them. Then they fixed it and had it ready for me by mid-afternoon. Completely straightforward and my Audi's driving like a dream.

I trust Dana and John with taking care of my Mercedes. They are very trustworthy and get what needs to be done, done. Brought my car in at a different auto shop for convenience to switch out my tires, somehow they recommended I get my drive belt replaced as well? So I took my car to Uptown imports because foreign cars are their specialty, and they told me my drive belt didn’t even need to be replaced! I trust them with what my car needs and that they are open and honest with their services.
