Horrible customer service. Horrible phone prompts that wastes time. Terrible communication when US Bank goes and does something and doesn't tell you. (Terminates ATM card after saying to keep on using it....your fine). Poorly trained customer service and do not offer a solution. Going to move all 9 accounts to a different banking institution.

If you want a bank that won't fix their mistakes and hangs up on you when you call, this is the bank for you. Finally decided it's time to move to another bank. The alleged 24 hour online banking is a nightmare.

I have only used this location a few times. Yesterday, 2-4-2021 I went over and I needed to see a banker. The nice courteous polite Security Guard directed me to the lady teller who sits next to the last stall on your left and as I stood their she was on the telephone. She told me to stand by the wall which I did. I heard her hang up from her call but she never got up and told me to come in. Meanwhile a gentleman is at a teller and apparently needed to see a banker and he was told to go to see her which he did right away. She never got up to tell me to come in nor did she tell him I was waiting. Note: I had been waiting for some time. I was disgusted, in fact a tad bit angry so I went to the guard and he mentioned he saw what happened as well and he then directed me to another banker who directed him/me to the banker next to him. This banker did an awesome job of taking care of my situation BUT The nerve of the lady who didn't come to get me after having me stand against the wall. I have been banking at US Bank for almost 30 years and I never had anything like this happen. Needless to say I see I will need to go to another location when I need a banker versus being treated so disrespectful. Prior to the riots and protest I used Lake Street and never had this happen before. I hope this posting is brought to her attention and she takes heed to NEVER allow a customer to feel slighted!!

I honestly feel like I'm dealing with robots at this company. I have been fighting with them for 6 months. These people are SO good at calling over and over and harassing for payments, but I have ONE question and not one person can answer it. Apparently it was escalated and I'm supposed to be getting a response in 15 days. Well what happens when it's been a month? So easy for them to just ride you off, but keep your number handy when THEY want something. Terrible bank. Terrible. I didn't think it could get worse than BoA, but clearly I was wrong. Avoid at all costs. And PS - no wonder they have a terrible rating.

I'm upset at this bank because I went to cash a check at the bank this check belongs to and they charged me $7 to cash it. If I would have known that, I could have cashed it cheaper at a currency exchange.

Just got off the phone with "Robert" ID. RJSIL, he's a supervisor, I made an honest mistake believing I wasn't gong to be charged "foreign ATM fees. He said he wouldn't refund the $47.50 because I should have known better, he actually spoke to me in a way that escalated my tension, offered no condolences or compassion in my error, the Monthly fee is all that is waived and I understood it to be ATM fees from Us Bank as well. He spoke in the most dense and rude way, I ended up hanging up on him. I'm off to a very rocky start with US Bank. This guy says he's been there 7 years and spoke to me with the most condescending manner. He even told me "I'm putting in notes on this account so that NO ONE else can or will refund the money" HE ALSO SAID "If I give you back the money, I would actually be taking money out of the pockets of others to give to you"....WOW, Just a true HORRIBLE PERSON, I hope he doesn't own animals at home.

I have been going to this particular location for quite a while now, and as I live even closer to Hennepin Avenue, at the current time, I find myself utilizing this location more lately. I honestly don't have anything negative to report. Each time I've come in for a transaction, I am always treated well by the tellers. They are good at remembering regular customers and seem to always be friendly and professional toward me. Sometimes, the ATM is out of order, but that's kind of par for the course occasionally. I have no complaints at all and will continue coming to this location for my banking needs.

Be very careful before leaving substantial funds in this bank. I'm not speaking about any of the branches. The staff at my branch in California are great, very nice and accommodating. I'm addressing the US Bank Corporation. In my 68 years, I've never experienced a more disorganized, unaccountable, incompetent bank in my life. My debit card was compromised. My card was being used to take Lyft rides all over San Francisco last Thursday. I realized it that night and called the fraud number on the back of the card to report the fraudulent activity. After being put on hold for exactly 45 minutes, the recording came on and said that they were sorry but there were no associates available and hung up. I called the regular customer service number and after 12 minutes got a representative on the line. He said he could not put a hold on the card but would stay on the line and walk me over to a fraud specialist. He put me on hold and, again, they hung up on me. The next morning I went to my local branch, explained the situation, and they said they would put a hold on the card. In the mean time the pending transactions from the day before went through. Supposedly they will review it over the next 10 days to see if I did or did not authorize those Lyft transactions. I don't have an account, nor have I ever ridden with Lyft. Even though my card is reportably on hold, two transactions went last night.... The crazy thing in all of this incompetence, is that all of the fraudulent charges amounted to less than $100, and yet, I will be going down to my branch tomorrow and withdrawing $68,000.00 and putting it in my Charles Schwab account. Be very cautious and do not trust this incompetent banking system with your life savings!!

Every time I go to this branch I am waiting for about 20 mins. No matter which day I seem to go. Only 2 tellers on a busy Saturday. I am definitely thinking about changing banks.

Been over 45 minutes to see a banker on a Saturday and there's only one of them... Not sure when he will even get to us. There's also a long wait at the teller line. Not sure if this is typical for a Saturday morning being understaffed and all, but I hope not. Just moved to the neighborhood.

This must be the slowest and most incompetent US Bank branch I have been to. Trying to withdraw cash from my account I have been given excuses such as the vault is closed it won't open until the afternoon, then after me insisting they find some money (a grand total of 1500) then the teller says she has a limit so the manager has to approve and then we wait and wait until I say I really have to go and insist, after another wait the manager graciously authorizes me to get my money from my account. All these things could be accepted if they happen quickly and in the background not as these folks do which is dragging their feet with the thought that your time has no value. This is the closest branch to my new home so j am closing my account and moving to Wells Fargo. Far better service.

I'll give this branch 2 stars because I've had a pleasurable experience with them for the past year and a half. My most recent experience is the reason the other 3 are missing. I visited the branch in hopes of talking to a banker. In every other bank, every other account, every other experience I've felt like I was at least some what of a priority. I don't have a huge account, and I certainly haven't been with US Bank long, but I at least expected them to address my issue within the specified time period. If Comcast were to tell me they'll be there between 1-4pm and they don't show up I expect it. When my bank says they will call me and it takes a full 3 business days and 2 phone calls later to even get a response, that's when I have an issue. In short, my issue with this whole experience wasn't the bank policy, it was the customer service. As far as banking institutions go, US Bank is a-ok in my book. If this were a restaurant I wouldn't have tipped.

Super friendly and helpful staff that take the time to remember you and know you by name if you stop in regularly. Spacious parking lot in the back (unheard of in Uptown!). Speedy services, even when the line fills the entire length of the building (which is not uncommon). I've only ever gone in for basic withdrawals/deposits/etc, so I can't speak to any of their other services, but overall it's always been a pleasant experience. My only complaint is that you can't access the ATM after hours even though it is located outside the lobby. All the doors lock when they close. However, there is a US Bank conveniently located at the Holiday gas station next door if you need to make a withdrawal after hours!

Don't EVER use US Bank. For ANYTHING. They are thieves. 5 years ago I set up a trust account with them to fund trust fees. In 5 years, they have whittled my $1,000 down to $678. Nice, huh? They are the suckiest bankers who have ever sucked. This is, of course, just my humble opinion. But they suck.
