Expect a queue of people.
They re-surfaced the parking lot, hooray!

Overly disappointed in this postal office. My packages are constantly sent back because they say it has no secure spot. Yet when trying to call they don’t answer and when I try to request for them to leave it at my mailbox they don’t! I’m literally missing out on my birthday because they will not drop off my clothes I had ordered. I’ve been calling for 3 days straight and nothing!

3 weeks ago, I scheduled an appointment for passport. I had followed online directions and brought in necessary documentation. They told me it was wrong. Had me start all over again (late for work). I received a reply 2 weeks later saying that I was denied and asked me to fill out the original form I started with. My question would be, do I get a refund? I have the original receipt. Not holding my breath. Complete waste of time and money. Try a different location.

It's hard to write this review because I have family that works in the USPS but a good review is hard to achieve when you aren't willing to assist someone just trying to pick up a package for a business that they work at. People don't have work addresses attached to their ID's to pick up packages and most people don't attach their company name to the package either so that they can differentiate who is ordering it from your business but if I have a tracking order and proof that I work at that establishment I don't think it should be an issue. Don't bother asking to speak with management either as you will get denied to even have the option.

I visited this USPS location for passport services and was there for about an hour to an hour and a half. When I first inquired, the employee rudely rolled her eyes and told me they were busy, offering no assistance in scheduling an appointment or even suggesting I wait. This was especially frustrating since I had already been to two other locations that day.
However, when I returned later, I witnessed a man of a different racial background being assisted for a passport, despite USPS not being able to find his appointment or any proof of it. Meanwhile, I had been turned away without any effort to accommodate me. To make matters worse, the next two scheduled appointments didn’t even show up, meaning the employee could have helped me but chose not to.
The lack of professionalism, fairness, and willingness to assist customers was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this location for passport services.

Incredibly long wait times at this location and the staff are sometimes unfriendly/rude. Today, I witnessed another customer get to take a picture of her package at the front. When I tried to do that, the same employee got mad at me in front of other customers.
The employee was not in the picture and there was no sensitive information in my picture other than my item on the scale… I even showed the picture to her and she still made me delete it. I am always kind and pleasant to this employee and today she berated me in front of other customers even after I repeatedly said sorry and deleted the picture. I felt terrible and very embarrassed.
Why do you let someone else take a picture and then make a big deal when I do it? Seems unfair and biased. If it’s not okay to take pictures that’s fine, but you let someone else do it and then raised your voice at me and was very exasperated. That wasn’t necessary. Will go out of the way to not come back here again even though it’s the nearest location to me

I've never had a bad experience at this post office, and my latest visit was no different. I have found that it helps to get there early in the day because it can get really busy. My only complaint is the parking lot is so full of potholes. And I agree that the new mailboxes are terrible.

I never have problems at USPS in Brooklyn Park. (Try the Anoka location if you want something to complain about)
If you're patient and understand that workers are doing their best with all the details they must make sure are correct, then things go much more smoothly.
My current problem is a residential delivery concern, so I've done my best to avoid USPS delivery options when I request or order things, and I use paperless options whenever possible. FedEx, UPS, Amazon, and other courier services give me better results.

Wasn't busy, and the people there were almost friendly, which is huge for a post office employee.

I was appalled by rude and unprofessional behavior I encountered at USPS while simply dropping off a package. The staff member I interacted with was dismissive and unhelpful, treating me with apparent irritation despite my straightforward request. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic courtesy is unacceptable. My experience was marred by unnecessary hostility, and I am deeply disappointed with the service. I understand you all had a long day but so do we all.

They disconnect the phone when it's supposed to be operational. When the line for services is built up to out the door, all but one employee is left at the counter. Government officials don't care to address government public services and its just a domino effect, that just leads to every department and employee to purposely give subpar service

Zero stars wasn't available. They NEVER answer the phone doesn't matter what day or time. They kept my package for a month after only trying to deliver it once and I wasn't home. Signed the slip but they never re-delivered and it eventually returned to sender. What a headache

While there are issues with the delivery service at times, the main office is just fine. While some have attitudes that some may find a distasteful, with the people they have to deal with and the grief they have to put up with, I can sympathize with them.
My service was great and very helpful. The only reason why I give them a 4 and not a 5, is because of the potholes throughout their parking and drop-off areas. A well as the dumb idea to change out the drive up drop boxes they used to have for the ones they currently have. You used to be able to drop off anything without getting out of your car, but now it's set so far back one has to get out to do it.

After opening a case regarding a package I was expecting through USPS, a representative at this location contacted me and let me know that they’d delivered my package to the wrong address and were unable to get it back. I double checked with the sender that all of my address info was correct, and it was. This is inexcusable. On top of this, the representative told me to file a claim for a refund online because “they dropped the ball”, and I was denied a refund. Can’t get a refund through the sender either as the tracking on the item says “delivered to an individual” - yeah, an individual being some random dishonest person. I’m extremely disappointed in USPS, this location in particular, for their negligence.
