I was dreading replacing my phone after mediocre experiences at other Verizon locations, but Austin was fantastic! Took the time to explain options, answered all my questions, took care of everything efficiently and courteously. Feel like I found a hidden gem!

Actually no stars. I had a new employee today with a supervisor looking on. (which is fine....people have to learn!). I am writing this so maybe she will learn something. She was rude, never looked at me, couldn't explain anything. She looked at her iPad the whole time. I told her I had bad hearing and I couldn't understand and nothing changed. She mumbled and looked down. The supervisor got involved and told me prices but really didn't explain them until I asked specific question. For example, a new phone would be $400. Then he said that would be for 36 months. Turns out it's really $720.
Never again.

Big, tall, long hair gentleman refused to even hear my issues out because I did not purchase the phone from there even though I was needing help with my Verizon account.

Dishonesty incarnate. Get ready for the slimy sales feel, and disingenuous answers to increase their sales. (wait times can be very bad too... Imagine you have to pop-in because the phone didn't finish activating as it was supposed to... but now you're in line behind a 40 minute-long customer because there is only 1 or 2 people working. Also, this is not a direct Verizon store, but a retailer selling verizon, as I understand it. Go instead to an actual verizon store and get direct service.

Horrible location, manager sucks- the worst. Because you didn’t buy something there you can’t do anything there. Dude had attitude- that’s why this store has 0 customers. Worst employee “managed” Friday January 10th approximately 10:40am

Had a nightmare situation to figure out with a phone return for a phone bought from a Russel Cellular/Verizon retailer in New Orleans. The staff in Edina did a fantastic job getting the issue solved. They took it upon themselves to do 2.5 hours of phone work to get the phone S24 Ultra returned and to get my S22 Ultra back into service.
This had been an ongoing headache of running around from store to store and getting different answers. Russell Cellular Edina was able to fix the issue same day. I am sincerely grateful for their above standard customer service!

The “Verizon” store on 50th street in Edina is worthless, unless you want to upgrade your phone or pay $60 for a screen protector.
Wish I had the dudes name that I talked to a couple times I went here…complete nut job.
Had an issue where I was not getting text messages in a group chat with iPhone and Android users in the group. This guy told me it was a known issue and not fixable, just had to accept it.
I had to turn in my phones at a Verizon corporate store (in Bloomington) and mentioned the issue and response I got from knucklehead at the Russell Verizon store in Edina. Tech here says “That’s not true. There is a fix. I hate it when some stores give you a lazy answer.” He fixed the issue by giving me a new SIM card.
Decided to go back to Russell and track down “the dude” who said it couldn’t be fixed.
Started by asking what options they had for car chargers. Showed me the one for $29.00.
I showed him the one on Amazon for $9.99 and asked if they had that one. His response was “you get what you pay for”. Asked him to explain what he meant and he repeated same thing. I told him that the $9.99 would work the same (supported by 4500 5 star reviews). He held firm and said maybe or maybe not.
OK…reminded him of our conversation about problem I was having with chat and that I had a resolution for him that he could share with other customers having same issue as me.
When I told him what corporate store had done to fix, he got all defensive by saying “ we are not a Verizon store”…even though the huge sign out front says VERIZON.
Then he went on to tell me that they are not allowed to change SIM cards, and he was told that there was not a fix to my issue.
Will never go back to this store. They seem to churn staff very quickly, some more knowledgeable than others…but seems like the staff there now is not good at customer service.
