Do not sign a lease here, this place sucks and is way overpriced. Maintenance is even worse something as basic as getting your lights replaced or your microwave replaced takes upwards of a month. The maintenance staff for all 200 + units is two dudes. The apartment also lies about the amenities you will be receiving by way overselling and undergiving once you move in.

I went in for a tour yesterday and Dusti the leasing agent was great! She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions! During my tour I was able to get a real feel of what it would be like to be a resident at Wahu and I think it would be great especially with all of the amenities they offer— weight room, pool & hot tub, a computer lab with multiple Mac computers and printer, and thats just to name a few! Visiting and touring Wahu was an all and all great experience.

I was charged 150 dollars for a nightstand that was at my apartment to being with. They claimed we left it there, even though we automatically assumed it came with the apartment, since it was there at move in day. They make unfathomable amounts of money off of the overpriced apartments, and yet, despite our attempts at telling them it was NOT our nightstand, they insisted on taking the extra 150 dollars from us.My time at Wahu was not enjoyed, service was subpar, and my keys didn't work for the first month living here, maintenance was slow and yet needed constantly. The hallways are disgusting, stains everywhere. There are plenty of better places to live on Campus, please do not waste your time at this trash hole.

Apartments was dirty upon moving in. Like feet completely black after walking for not even 10 minutes after move in, the bedroom AND bathroom door literally FELL off its hinges in the middle of the day, and nothing ever seems to be working in the building. Pool opens at the beginning of the year for a week and it never seems to open again—they do it every year—and some of the equipment in the gym seems to not be working for like more then a year too. Printer always broken, packages always lost. The good reviews on here are from bribing ppl with giveaways on their instagram. also, office ppl always mad when it regards them doing their job. Emo girl at the front desk always has an attitude, like it’s not that hard to grab my package for me and treat me like a human ? and it seems like i’m the only one who has good maintenance experience tho, otherwise everyone else says they have horrible experience :// For the amount that rent is… you aren’t getting what you’re paying for, and management sucks. During the winter, the courtyard is used as a bathroom for all the dogs, so like it’s yellow and brown for 9 months of the year basically. Ppl use it to walk to their apartments so idk why others aren’t held accountable for their dogs. Either way ????

Don't trust the reviews. Wahu buys reviews by promoting giveaways to people who give them a nice review, but then never fulfill the giveaways.

It has a great location and lots of good restaurants nearby it! The apartment units are very spacious and come fully furnished which is really nice.

Go live some where else. I would rather live on the street to live here. Hate this place with passion, and I could write a whole essay with countless reasons to not to live here. This place is worse than hell. (Any 5 stars reviews are paid)

Didn’t seem like they knew we were coming to move in. Had at most 5 carts for move in. Carpets weren’t cleaned, unit itself wasn’t cleaned or at least not well. Our AC busted after two days of use and we don’t have a time as to when it’ll be fixed. Our couch and chair were both damaged and very dirty which were replaced. Our shared bathroom door was previously kicked in by past residents and wouldn’t close fully or lock. Not impressed.

Disgusting people. This is what the apartment looked like when I moved in - full of trash and damages, obvious that staff had not cleaned before or checked for previous resident damages. I personally had to clean myself and was already frustrated. Guess what happened when I moved out? I accrue all the damage fees for their incompentency. The cherry on top is them lying and adding a ridiculous $25 fee for "forgetting a bag" in the room. They still don't know I took pictures of everything before moving out and my pictures show nothing remaining. Avoid this place like a plague.

Closet door was broken, toilet was not in a good condition(but works at least). Move in day was a mess, no signs showing which elevalors can go up above 7th floor(some elevators can only go up to 6th. Everything else was fine so far so if they can fix stuff before people move in and fix the move in day everything would be a lot better.

Although desks in the office, and at moving tend to be somewhat understaffed, the staff are very friendly. The living spaces are extremely nice, although I expected a more thorough cleaning before move-in.

WAY OVERPRICED. Little to no maintenance and extremely dirty. Human and dog feces in stairwells on wall and carpet, took weeks to clean. Garbage always stacked in hallways and outside garage elevator. Flimsy and dirty apartment, feet were black after walking barefoot for an hour and the carpet is matted and stained. Moved in to broken toilets and sinks and stains on the walls. Charging me for move out fees of left behind items, dirty toilet, and undefined damage when the bathroom was spotless and was checked thoroughly for left behind items. Pool and hot tub broken upon move in and only fixed two months before move out and still was closed for maintenance regularly. Gym equipment a rotation of broken machines. Not worth the rent and extra charges. Lost about 20 packages to the front desk and leasing office. Long story short, didn’t resign lease and am now living in a less expensive apartment that’s 12 times nicer.

Move-in day was a great experience! The staff is so friendly and helpful and made the entire experience a breeze. My apartment was clean and just what I expected. I had a minor issue with my toilet but the maintenance team fixed it quick and were very nice.

This was my first experience living away from home and it was horrendous. The management had many issues and the apartment complex was poorly kept. They were very rude as well and not willing to assist you in any way. I thought because of the rent of $1000 it would be an amazing place to live but I was sorely disappointed. The Gym had no air conditioning and the equipment was lost or broken. They have a ton of hidden charges as well and when you move off they will definitely charge you even if you cleaned your room throughly. For anyone looking for a place to live for the semester or summer I would highly recommend to avoid this place. There are many better places near campus.

The tour was great. The young lady was very friendly and bubbly. She even offer us snack and drink from the showroom.
