Three separate 45 minute calls sitting on hold for the pharmacy only to get hung up on.

I'm concerned that a lot of shelves are empty or are in locked cases. It's so close to my house I really hope it stays open.

Terrible phone system. Always on hold for 30+ minutes, gets hung up on, rerouted multiple times.

Nice place but the pharmacy sometimes has long lines if the drive thru isn't open

They do not competently handle things like prior auth and take longer than other pharmacies. Most of the pharmacists are rude, the nice ones don't seem to stick around. Understaffed.

I have never once been able to get in contact with the pharmacy over the phone. Half a dozen times, on multiple occasions, have I been on hold for 15+ minutes before I gave up. Today, they filled my prescription incorrectly, and will not pick up, and so I guess my only option is to return and wait in line to figure out how to get the correct medication.

It can be busy, but the staff are working hard and are kind. I really appreciate them!

I’ve been a Walgreens Pharmacy patient/customer for a very long time, and this is the first Walgreens where I think the service is absolutely deplorable. They are never fully staffed, which means they will close randomly during open hours, they literally do not ever answer the phone, and there are constant mistakes with prescriptions. I called to ask if carry a specific brand of medication, was on hold for an hour with the automated voice saying “there is one caller ahead of you” for more than 30 of those 60 minutes before I gave up. I also once spent 10 days trying to get a prescription filled, I called 31 times (yes I kept track) over the course of those 10 days at varying times of day, and no one ever answered the phone no matter how long I waited on hold. The last time I picked up a specific prescription, they asked me if I wanted it on auto-refills and I declined. But a few days ago I started getting notices of my “autofill” for that medication being processed. They reached out to a doctor I hadn’t seen in years instead of the one that actually sent them the script to request a prior auth. My list could go on for days. The Pharmacist specifically seems to be a big part of the problem as I have overheard him multiple times being rude to or shouting at the technicians. He never seems to help answer the phone, work the drive thru or register, or help with the high capacity in any way while the technicians scramble around trying to keep up. All of this has unfortunately made me want to switch away from Walgreens as a whole despite using their pharmacy for 15+ years.

9am open time. Unacceptable. What's wrong with this city.

Constantly understaffed which means they are closed randomly, medications are not ready on time, proper notes are not entered in your file, hours are limited, no one answers the phone. I have been trying to fill a prescription for a week in preparation for a trip and it was never filled.

I noticed that there’s a lot of negative reviews on prescriptions not being done on time and the wait time. I never had to deal with that because I have the Walgreens app and on there you can see what medication you have and you can also request what medication you want to pick up. It’ll notify you when the medication is ready to be picked up. If they don’t have the medication in stock you can call and ask when the next shipment for that medication will be or call other Walgreens to see if they have it and they’ll fill it for you. If your prescription is a controlled drug you can’t transfer it, you’ll have to call your doctor and have them send it somewhere else, if you do take that route I highly recommend sending the prescription to a bigger Walgreens like the one on Hiawatha because they get a bigger medication supply.**Don’t opt in (SAVE A TRIP) it caused a lot of problems for me**Hope this helps!
