In an attempt to find a decent walgreens on the city that can fill my prescription without driving, I tried this one. The app mentioned nothing about it being a specialty pharmacy, so I thought I'd give it a shot.
First off, it is difficult to find. I had to walk into another business asking how to find it.
After entering, the gentleman at the register was very nice and got to work finishing my prescriptions. However, an older lady handing them to me and told me to not come back because they're a specialty pharmacy.
Why is it so hard finding a walgreens around uptown that can fill normal prescriptions? It's very disheartening, exhausting even.

Always have good service at the Walgreens Speciality Pharmacy Allina Uptown. The store itself is a little bare bones and could use some attention if they want customers to purchase additional items.

I can’t say enough good things about this Walgreens. I go there every three months for my prescriptions. They are always kind, courteous and an absolute dream to work with. They have been GREAT working with my local clinic. They are willing to mail me my prescriptions if I am unable to pick them up. Using this Walgreens takes one more anxiety off my plate.

I cannot say enough good things about the special group of individuals that I have had the pleasure of interacting with at this pharmacy! This particular team works together in an impressive manner that always delivers quality! Such exceptional efforts and dedicated teamwork should not go unnoticed! These individuals are professional, polite, efficient and effective. The communication is clear, consistent, caring & concise. Honestly I’ve never encountered a pharmacy that constantly delivers excellence again and again! Walgreens I hope you recognize what a unique team you have here and place high value on their collaboration in delivering the best service possible! These hard working individuals are determined to make a positive impact with every encounter, which is not a easy thing to do when pharmacy’s everywhere are short staffed, overworked, underpaid and held to unrealistic expectations. This pharmacy has the process for providing prescriptions down to a science! It’s preformed quickly, correctly & easily for the customer. Ive gone to this pharmacy for over a year now and my only regret is that I didn’t utilize them sooner as my primary pharmacy! Embarrassingly, I arrived 5 min prior to close one day to fill a prescription and they did so and in the kindest way.This team makes their work look effortless and enjoyable! Why would you go anywhere else? This team is amazing. In my opinion they all deserve a raise! Y’all are fabulous!

Overall,this location has been very helpful with the numerous medications I take on a monthly basis. Props to Rosco and his team for taking the time to get to know me as a patient as developing a professional relationship with my pharmacy team was something that I was concerned about when first moving to Minneapolis. I am on a first name basis with most of the staff and appreciate their efforts and punctuality when filling my prescription(s).I recommend a speciality Walgreens pharmacy like this one to anyone who takes meds that are difficult to obtain or have shortages.

If you're not using this pharmacy, you should be asking yourself. Why not? They're fast kind courteous informative. Best of all, they deliver the pharmac The pharmacists are absolutely amazing The tecs are outstanding. They go above and beyond to help you when you end up in a jam. When everything's not quite relining up, so stop whatever you doing. Call your doctor and transfer your prescriptions to this pharmacy now

Apart from the double billing between my primary and secondary insurances I addressed, this location has been very helpful with the numerous medications I take on a monthly basis. Have been going here for years now even though there is a much, much closer Walgreens. Why? They're always on top of my refills, and they're always ready when they say they'll be ready. The staff is amazing, on top of everything, and generally the most helpful, nice people you could ever hope to deal with.
