There is no parking lot for this park, only on-street, and the curb cuts are few and far between so if you're in a wheelchair or have a stroller, this park isn't great. The equipment looks older and dated. It did not appear to have any bathrooms or water fountains.

Windom Park NE is my Northeast Go To Park for when I want to play Pickleball. The park has 2 Tennis Courts with Pickleball Lines, a Basketball Court, a big field usually used for soccer, since nice walking trails as well as a big building that I once played an indoor volleyball league at.The park is typically not that crowded and parking is super easy on the street along it.The pickleball / tennis courts are in a little rough shape, but I am no professional so I appreciate that it usually means the courts are empty.

My daughter loved the kids pool and the playground. The atmosphere of the pool was cool, my daughter found other kids to play with and everybody had a good time.

Open 10-7 with a bath house to change at. No life guard. Next to a small playground. Perfect for younger children, 2!0"-6 grounds for 2-12 and 5-12. 8 yr old had a blast here. .

As urban parks go, I'd give it high marks. The grass is grassy and the trees have healthy bark and green leaves. Bring something to grill, as it's a fine picnic spot! The main reason to visit is probably the playground! If you're over 20 years old, do what I do and hit the zip-line late at night to avoid the wait and not creep out the kids.

Nice park, typically pretty clean. Ice rinks and somewhat clear/plowed paths during the winter. Wading pool and playground during the non-winter months. Cool tennis court.

Fun and different equipment on the playground. Pickleball stripes on the tennis court are a great addition. A pretty NE park on the hill.

Windom Park was very well kept and clean. There are soccer fields, ball diamonds, and basketball courts. There was a wide variety of people at the park doing various activities, but it was pretty chill and a good place to hang out.

Windom Park is a solid space in the heart of NE. Located on Johnson and Lowry, this park does get quite a bit of traffic. There are many options for being activities- wading pool, playground, open fields, picnic tables, tennis courts, and a baseball field. This park has stairs in the middle or you can go to the sidewalks around the perimeter. This land is not flat so beware of accessibility. Plenty of street parking is available and free. Check this park out next time you drive by. Great spot to enjoy the summer weather!

Some playground equipment not working (when we went) and all of it requires a decent amount of bodily coordination. But overall good place to bring a 3 or 4 to 9 year old.
