I recently visited this YMCA location, and I must say, it's one of the cleanest and most well-maintained facilities I've ever experienced. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, making the process of obtaining my 3-day pass a breeze. Once inside, I was impressed by the extensive selection of free weights and machines, as well as the spacious layout that allowed for a comfortable workout environment. This YMCA truly exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch fitness facility.

I wanted to sign up but the guy with short hair who runs the front desk was extremely rude and made me change my mind on who I want to have a membership with. Fire him.

Love this place! Plenty of exercise equipment in good repair. Great, quiet pool with lap swim never crowded. Very clean throughout. Safe locker rooms with built-in locks. Never crowded.

do you like horrible facilities and equipment offered at an expensive rate? do you like jumping through hoops to cancel and being charged for two months after cancelation? this is the place for you. just workout at home.

Um, wow! This Y is like a high end gym, but instead your money goes to a great non-profit! I felt like I was walking through a spa in some parts haha. I've only been to the Uptown Y before, but am so glad I checked this location out! PARKING: They have a private lot and it's $1 (I believe for the first hour, and then $1 each hour after), which is nice to have downtown! Entrance is by buzzer only. AMENITIES: Similar to other Y locations in Minne, you'll find a pool, sauna, hot tub, two weights areas, a few rooms for group fitness classes, a basketball court, and more here. OFFERINGS: They offer private training (3 free sessions when you sign up), group fitness classes, swim workout classes, massage and more here. They even have a childcare area! ATMOSPHERE: I loved the vibe here! Peaceful music playing, not crowded at all (I did go at 4pm so probably best the evening rush), extremely nice updated bathrooms (with all-gender option), and well cared for equipment and amenities. PRICE: I joined in January for $0 joiner fee and $66/month for the year - competitive with other gyms in the area with similar amenities, and your money goes to a non-profit with a great cause! Highly recommend this location!

Really dirty place with really dirty water fountains and stink smelling areas. They could do a better job at cleaning. They do have nice amenities but also those are unsanitary.

Bad. I called in. The guy did not say his name who picked up so I asked him for his name. He was muffled, he said his name was milus, then minus, Milo's, so I asked him to spell it He refused. I asked him for his manager. Manager was worse than him but I could hear the manager he was not having mic so close to his mouth. Manager did not say who he was and also did not consider the situation unprofessional. He said he does not want to hear about it. Also the life guard who was bathlehem baptist member socks. He did not follow protocol of warning patron if they do something wrong, but asked patron to leave and then they terminated his member ship. He is perfect case of malpractice. And patron did not do anything wrong. This YMCA is bad. They are not good people.

Today was my first day, and I really liked this gym! It is quite spacious and quiet, and the people at the service desk and my swimming teacher were kind and respectful. Other people I met in the gym were also kind. The swimming and locker facilities are great as well. It had many shower spaces (as little rooms), spacious vanity spaces, and individual spaces to change clothes.I did not register for the membership just in case, because I wanted to have some experiences before I actually join as a member. I think I am going to join, as I look forward to visiting this gym more frequently.

Thomas in membership is kind and concerned about your membership. He follows up on his email. The facility is clean and close to pristine. I have no fear of Covid there because their protocol is in place. It is as well maintained as a hospital and I work in a hospital. Everything is up to standard for infection control. And yet they make you feel accepted and welcome when you walk in the door. They don't put on airs, they are kind and generous. Thank you ☺️?

They offered our nonprofit a place to mentor inner city children/youth & we’re so appreciative!
