“Went to pick up an online order of a printer at this store today and was very impressed by the service we received. As soon as we entered the store we were greeted and an employee asked us how he could help us. We were looking for specific ink cartridges for our printer and a larger sized copy paper. He was quick to help us find both of these. At the checkout, he placed our printer on a cart and added our other purchases, then took them all to our car and loaded them in for us. Something that really impressed me was that while he was loading our purchases, his phone was ringing, but instead of answering it, he continued to help us. This is an example of excellent customer service, and if I need any more items from Office Depot, I will drive the longer distance out to this store rather than look for one close to home, because they have the best customer service I have come across in a long time!”

“I’ve been trying to get custom stamps made.
On Office Depot’s website, custom stamps are identified only by their dimensions (eg “2 x 3”) while they’re identified only by their ID numbers in store (eg “ID2640”). Because the stamps have different names online vs in store, it’s difficult to order one online after checking a stamp for sizing in store. I check for sizing in store because seeing the area of a stamp against a physical envelope is a more intuitive and accurate way of figuring out the size I need, compared to working with abstract dimensions. The Office Depot website also doesn’t differentiate between the literal dimensions of these stamps, and the size of the area that they stamp (ie how big are the stamp’s margins?).
Jeremy was already aware that customers face these difficulties at Office Depot. I came in right before store’s close, and even though the Print Center was already closed, Jeremy showed me the custom stamps they had in stock, measured each with a ruler, and then pointed out for me what each stamp is named on their website.
I was honestly struck by how helpful and knowledgeable Jeremy is. Office Depot should update their systems so that this isn’t an issue in the first place — the whole point of their custom stamps is that they’re supposed to be easy for customers to order online without guidance. But despite having to work through systems that don’t make sense, Jeremy was patient and dedicated in solving a problem for me that shouldn’t have existed. Office Depot is incredibly lucky to have team members like Jeremy who put in extra work to make up for poorly considered systems — in 2024, your employees shouldn’t have to confirm which products are which by measuring them with a ruler.
I’ve rarely met someone so patient and persistent working in customer service. Idk Jeremy’s role, but if he’s already the store manager, make him the regional. People like him are the only reason I go to Office Depot.”
“Great to work with for herman miller warranty, they come to you and repair where and when you need it. No fuss, nice and smart techs, and very flexible. I dropped the ball, and needed to move the date with only a few days notice, they happily accommodated and showed up the next day, instead of weeks out like some places would do (which is understandable, I was untimely not them!)”
“I had a positive experience ordering two computer monitors online after Black Friday weekend. I was able to arrange curbside pickup and I just showed up, responded that I was outside on the app, and in about 2 minutes the dude was out there with my two monitors and put them in the back of my car. This was after having ordered them the previous evening. A very good price and a very positive experience”

“This is a great place to buy furniture! The refurbished furniture looks as good as new but is much less expensive. The employees are great to work with and have always worked hard to help the organization I was associated with meet our schedules. I first worked with ABF 5 years ago when my company was subleasing space from another company and we only got a 6-month warning that the company we were leasing from was cancelling their, and thus our, lease. The folks at ABF came through for us and we were able to move 30 people into a completely new space, 6 months later. We used refurbished cubicles and it all worked great. This winter, I was volunteering at a private school and they needed cubicle panels to enclose a 20'x7' space in a month. ABF came through again with refurbished panels on the schedule we needed. This past month, they found 3 lateral file cabinets to go with an existing one at the school and again provided the furniture very quickly. This is just a great company to work with.”

“I needed to drop of a return of a Bosch dishwasher pump to go back to Bosch, and Office Depot in St. Louis Park, MN is listed good place to do that. When I got there at 9:00 a.m. I asked where the FedEx drop off was, and initially the employee started to politely give me driving directions. I said I wanted to know where in their store to drop off the package for FedEx. She said I could give it to her. She was not able to give me a receipt or scan my package at all. She said FedEx will come pick it up in the afternoon. This concerns me, but I will wait to see if FedEx picks up the package and if it gets to the destination.”
