“I discovered Boulevard Station on a Saturday evening, after the engine in my car threw its serpentine belt and started overheating. It was just by chance that I exited US-169 onto Minnetonka Boulevard, looking for a place to park. I coasted into the shop’s parking lot, and this turned out to be an incredibly lucky landing. First, because the business was still open and, second, because David, the owner, quickly diagnosed my car’s problem and offered to send a repair quote the following Monday. (Boulevard Station is closed Sundays.) When the quote arrived, the total was within $5 of the amount I was expecting to pay. I am immensely grateful for the prompt service and fair pricing I received. Also, David, is a hell of a nice guy.”

While they were working on my car the technician accidentally broke a radiator tab and they immediately let me know and replaced it at no cost. If I could give more stars I honestly would! I had an emergency tire repair needing to be done and I dreaded having to take it in somewhere to get it repaired, as I do unfortunately have a bias about the auto repair industry and how gender roles can affect the outcome for lots of people.
I called multiple tire shops around me and that bias was almost immediately brought to fruition. I was met with stark tones from the male service reps. I was talked down to and rushed and not given clear or direct answers when I had specific questions… I was about ready to try and be a YouTube mechanic and figure it out myself (I know how to change a tire. but my rim was bent and I didn’t know how to handle that).
Anyways, before I decided to throw in the towel, I made one final call and that was to Bobby & Steve’s.
I spoke with three different gentlemen that worked there and they ALL understood proper customer service. It was a breathe of fresh air and I actually felt comfortable and confident in bringing my vehicle to them.
Ryan specifically knocked it out of the park. He even went the extra mile and added my tires to a pickup order he was already planning to make within the next half hour of me calling, so I could get my tire replaced same day! I could tell he genuinely wanted to help me, the person, not just fulfill a sale or a quota or whatever.
I felt even more relaxed when I finally arrived to the auto shop and was face to face with everyone in person. Just an overall great environment and great employees and that is a big deal, especially in today’s social climate where customer service is kind of dead regardless of gender or other bias. I just really appreciate this place and I will definitely be back again!”
“First of all, let me start of by saying, I called 3 supposed 24/7 towing companies in the area with no response before making contact with Sal at 24/7 Towing Company. Don't even bother wasting your time calling other towing companies, Sal at 24/7 Towing Company is where you want to take your business! Sal is an absolute gem! He's professional, patient and extremely understanding. My situation was quite complicated as I was calling from Omaha, NE trying to assist my 76 year-old uncle in the Brooklyn Center, Minnesota area. At the time, my uncle appeared to be experiencing some confusion. A Good Samaritan had picked him on the side of the highway but the car was left behind. Upon speaking with Sal, he immediately jumped into action. I paid for the tow and received the receipt via text thereafter. I then gave Sal the make, model, color and year of the car. Sal inquired about the keys. At that time, I quickly realized my uncle had the keys with him at his hotel. Sal without hesitation offered to go to the hotel and pick up the keys. Very generous... Sal rode up and down the highway until he found the car, confirmed the personalized plates, retrieved the keys from the hotel and towed the car to the designated placed. He sent confirmation via text to include pictures of the car at said designated location when the job was complete. The communication was excellent throughout the process. He called me when my uncle mistakenly stated his hotel was in St. Paul. He called from the highway . He called when he arrived in the hotel lobby for the keys and from auto shop/drop-off location. When all was said and done, I was delighted that the other towing companies didn't answer because Sal was a pleasure to do business with. He put me at ease during a concerning situation with my uncle and me not being familiar with area. He showed care for my uncle. Thank you Sal from Tiffany in Omaha, NE!!”

“They have serviced all my cars for 36yrs, I will continue to bring my cars to these men. They let you know what is wrong with your car, do not try to up sale you or gouge you in pricing. As a woman, to trust a mechanic, this is extremely important. Never had a bad experience with them, may not have liked what they told was wrong with car, but all knew going in it was going to cost me money as my car is not a cheap to get fixed. However, Mike always seems to help figure out to prioritize what really needs to be done and what can wait 3-6 months so my pocket book is not a bloody massacre..lol. They were super honest and since we are going to let our elderly mother and father-in-law, we wanted to have them check it out and ensure it was safe.They listed some stuff that could be fixed, but unlike the dealership, they didn't have any pressure.The car drives like it did before the strut issue and Tommy was actually at the desk when we picked it up. “Called for a tow service and Joe was there within 10 minutes, he’s cool as hell and was very quick and efficient, we ran into a few problems and he was able to get them figured out fast, he was careful and considerate of the car when he was towing it and gave me and my mom a ride up to the front to keep her from walking.”
