Out-in-the-middle-of-nowhere U.S. is a wonderful craft brewery.
As in 230 miles northwest of Minneapolis.
My wife and I made Junkyard Brewing Company a destination.
And we are thrilled that we did to this 14-year-old brewery.
We have had craft beers from across the country and in Europe, and we used to own a bottle shop. In our opinion, Junkyard Brewing Company has some of the best beer we have ever had.
Besides their high-quality beers, their customer service is excellent. We chatted for about an hour with the young man who served our beers.

Try one of their pizzas. They are excellent. Needless to say, it is a perfect pairing with their excellent beers.

Harold's on Main
1330 Main Avenue, MoorheadOutstanding karaoke experience in the Fargo Moorhead Metroplex last night, Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
This is the only karaoke place I know of in the area, and there are many, where karaoke starts at the reasonable hour of 8 PM.
Children are allowed with their parents or legal guardians in Harold's until 9 PM, so please bring the family.
There were some singers whom I'm sure had many other gifts, and some singers with exceptional voices.
The karaoke jockey, KJ, was friendly and did a good job encouraging applause and a good vibe. There were several notable duets by female female and male female, as well as many soloists.
This writer may have been the second oldest person in the bar, so he felt a wee bit out of place, but the waitress made him feel welcome as did a very friendly young man named Roman and his friend – – she had a beautiful single-syllable name but my memory is failing.
There were pizza and jalapeño pickled eggs available, but this writer did not treat himself to either, so he can't rate the food.

I am back. Good to be back for karaoke, listening and singing. The only other place in the Fargo ND Moorhead MN metroplex hosting karaoke tonight is Rooters on Broadway in Fargo.
Harold's has mostly youngsters -- 20s and 30s -- yet there is at least one 57 year old, and three 60 somethings.
Good place. Hope I can find a woman to duet with me.

had another great time last night at karaoke at Harold's on Main. The waitress was very nice. The singing was enjoyable. Patrons cheered one another on.
