1330 Main Ave, MoorheadOutstanding karaoke experience in the Fargo Moorhead Metroplex last night, Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
This is the only karaoke place I know of in the area, and there are many, where karaoke starts at the reasonable hour of 8 PM.
Children are allowed with their parents or legal guardians in Harold's until 9 PM, so please bring the family.
There were some singers whom I'm sure had many other gifts, and some singers with exceptional voices.
The karaoke jockey, KJ, was friendly and did a good job encouraging applause and a good vibe. There were several notable duets by female female and male female, as well as many soloists.
This writer may have been the second oldest person in the bar, so he felt a wee bit out of place, but the waitress made him feel welcome as did a very friendly young man named Roman and his friend – – she had a beautiful single-syllable name but my memory is failing.
There were pizza and jalapeño pickled eggs available, but this writer did not treat himself to either, so he can't rate the food.

I am back. Good to be back for karaoke, listening and singing. The only other place in the Fargo ND Moorhead MN metroplex hosting karaoke tonight is Rooters on Broadway in Fargo.
Harold's has mostly youngsters -- 20s and 30s -- yet there is at least one 57 year old, and three 60 somethings.
Good place. Hope I can find a woman to duet with me.

had another great time last night at karaoke at Harold's on Main. The waitress was very nice. The singing was enjoyable. Patrons cheered one another on.

24 8th St S, MoorheadThis is the best DQ in the country!! Only DQ that isn't held down by corporate, so they have what other DQs don't anymore. The line is often very long, but people still wait... because it's worth it!
Heritage drinks, old-fashioned ice cream sodas, a shake/malt with a sundae on top, blueberries... if you miss something you've had at a DQ before, see if the Moorhead DQ can do it!
