My dog is a senior and epileptic, so I was extremely nervous about bringing him into an environment I thought might be stressful or overwhelming for him. But his groomer was absolutely amazing, and he fell in love with her immediately.
When I went to pick him up, she was walking him out and he was happier than a pig in mud! Seeing him so comfortable, happy, and cared for truly healed my heart and made me feel so good about giving him his own little spa day. I cannot recommend this place enough!

They provide excellent care with compassion and empathy in all services. Dr. Dill is educational and always there when we need him. The front staff is always smiling and willing to help in a timely manner. I've never had a bad experience in all the years I've been taking various kinds of animals there.

Harry struggled with fear, reactivity, and navigating the world around him. I had already invested in other training programs, and while we saw some progress, it never seemed to translate into everyday life at home. Despite my best efforts to reinforce what he'd learned, the improvements didn't stick. We would make a little progress, only to find ourselves right back where we started.
It was exhausting, discouraging, and heartbreaking. I loved this dog so much, but I was beginning to wonder whether I would ever be able to give him the happy, confident life I wanted for him.
I enrolled Harry in SmartK9's eight-week Board & Train program hoping for something different. What we received was so much more.
Thanks to the incredible work of Trainers Maddi and Julyn, Harry is becoming the dog I always knew he could be.
His progress in neutrality, basic commands, manners, and understanding boundaries has been remarkable. But what means the most to me is seeing him experience the world without being ruled by fear.
Harry has now relaxed on outdoor patios with FIVE other dogs nearby. He's successfully navigated Lowe's, encountering unfamiliar surroundings, other dogs, people, and countless distractions. He's learning to engage with his handlers, enjoy activities that challenge him, and look to me for guidance rather than reacting to everything around him.
These might sound like ordinary experiences for some dogs. For Harry, they're extraordinary milestones.
And none of this happened by accident.
Maddi and Julyn brought an incredible combination of knowledge, skill, patience, and genuine compassion to Harry's training. They took the time to understand him as an individual, meet him where he was, and help him build confidence at his own pace.
Just as importantly, they showed that same patience and compassion to me. They helped me better understand Harry, taught me how to communicate with him, and gave me the tools and confidence to continue his progress at home.
I know our journey isn't finished, and maintaining Harry's progress will take continued practice and consistency. But for the first time, I feel genuinely excited about the possibilities ahead of us. This includes Harry being eligible for daycare and boarding at SmartK9. He is now attending weekly daycare so that he can continue to practice his neutrality, learn new things, and maintain his basic commands and manners. Daycare was never a possibility for us at any other facility, so this is a huge bonus to completing his training program.
To Maddi and Julyn: Thank you for seeing the wonderful dog beneath the fear, for believing in him when I was beginning to lose hope, and for helping me believe in what was possible. You've given Harry something truly priceless — the confidence to experience and enjoy a much bigger world.
I cannot recommend SmartK9 Training highly enough.

I tried one of the ciders and enjoyed it, not overly sweet and had a good amount of flavor. The staff was friendly and didnt make things complicated when ordering. It’s a good spot to hang out with friends for a bit, especially if you want something different from the usual beer or cocktails. The atmosphere was relaxed and the place felt welcoming. I’d come back again and try some of the other ciders next time.

My wife and I wanted something different on Sunday, so we stopped at Wurst Bier Hall. WOW! It had been way too long since I had been there. They’ve remodeled, and the place looks better than ever.
And the food? Still amazing! My wife loved her pretzel with beer cheese soup and knoephla soup. I did take a picture of my Polish sausage with grilled kraut and peppers—but it was so good, I had already eaten half of it!
Don’t forget about Wurst Bier Hall. It’s a great option for a relaxing Sunday afternoon!

The staff was friendly and got my order out quicker than I expected. Its a nice little spot for a quick lunch when you want something better than the usual fast food. Nothing overly fancy, but everything was fresh and tasty. I’d definitely come back and try one of the other sandwiches next time.

They take great care of the dogs. Ace goes there for daycare and boarding. Recently, Ace boarded at Rainy Days for about four weeks and he had a great time there. We are happy to have Rainy Days in Fargo.
