I can't say for sure who's to credit for this fine local business, but my gut tells me a younger employee who's worked at Harvest since we moved to the area might have a hand in the beer inventory. C. knows his beer and takes pride in researching what-is-what in flavors, brewing processes, and background knowledge on booze history, and as of late, insight on select vineyards and relevant characteristics.I like supporting this local business and hope to see it continue going strong. I also hope the choice in beer selection continues. Some constructive feedback would be perhaps a greater variety in quality value-priced liquors particularly bourbon and rum. “I have appreciated Kowalski’s for decades. Only recently have I come to realize that their Excelsior location is nearly perfect for 2 retired people. Ultimate in customer service and best stock of any place I shop. They have better freshness (dated packages are significant). Two people want 18 “Vital Farms” eggs to be great until they are used.It’s great to have lunch at one of best Asian restaurants from the same parking lot. Just ask and your grocery order will be brought to your vehicle. Parking is free, but limited. We have always found a space without trouble.”

“Little more in cost than L&B, but the location was convenient. We picked out some tasty items not in the Deli Department (like I thought we would), but in the sushi/rolls area. It was very nice to have everything right there: chopsticks/extra soy sauce/selection of different rolls. Michael at the register was a rock star-finding and adding a rubber band to our packaging (since the packaging probably would have popped open). We enjoyed our alfresco lunch in the park, thanks to Kowalski's (and Michael).”
