“Recently I was in need of a countertop install at a cabin we are building. Other countertop installers were booked out a ways and we needed the install done on the earlier end. I usually don't search blindly for contractors without personal recommendations. I found Hansen Custom Countertops which had great reviews. I contacted Troy and he had a three day opening due to another job being behind on their cabinets. He spelled out the process very clearly, the contract was in simple to understand terms and the payment process was simple. On a Monday I met Troy's installer at our cabin for measurements. Incidentally the cabin is an hour north of the metro which was not an issue for Troy. The measurements were taken and the countertop was installed 2 days later. The quality of the work looked great and the project turned out awesome. Thanks to Troy and Wade for getting this done quickly and for doing such a great job.”

“We needed a refresh to our bathtub/shower. It involved replacing the tile with a solid surface, and installing grab bars and new plumbing fixtures. Valley Interior Products completed the work in 3 days, and it looks great. Next, we had our 1940's sink unit in the kitchen replaced with new cabinets, countertop and backsplash. They repaired the wall behind the sink that we had cut open to address some plumbing issues. Once again, it looks great that the work was all completed in 4 days! When we mentioned that we planned to paint our old cabinets to match the new ones, Mark (the owner) brought us a paint sample of a color that matched. “A few days ago I received a call from a client whose bathroom Montaggio had supplied the plumbing fixtures for about 15 years ago. The toilet seat had cracked and they needed a replacement. They'd searched all the usual places but were not able to find the right color.Once they explained the problem I was able to go back to my original selections sheet, find the color, and contact Kristin with my request. As promised, she contacted my clients the next day and set up an order for the proper replacement.Kristin did a fantastic job with this. She made me look good and she made Montaggio look good. You cannot actually purchase the Cambria there... but you can see many of the slabs, and talk to an experienced representative.If you want to purchase you will be referred elsewhere.Overall.... a nice experience. Cambria is a fantastic product. It will not absorb a y liquids and wears VERY well.”
“C&D Granite is the best granite spot in the Twin Cities. It seems like most of the area has gone to Quartz, but for my project I was focused on granite. They had more selection than every supplier I looked into. Not only more options, but their showroom is insane compared to the other places in the area. Tons of granite, quartz and other stone slabs. Most places have little small blocks/samples. C&D has gigantic slabs to see. Honestly, I had no idea where to start at and I ended up going to a few other suppliers in the area that were more than underwhelming. I stumbled on C&D while looking at another spot in the cities. Tim Rick got me in for an appointment almost right away. Tim was involved in my project from day one to the final install and really went above and beyond to help me out. I was very particular (and probably kind of annoying) throughout the process because I wanted this done exactly how I envisioned. Tim made that work and put up with all of my calls/emails/and inquiries about the project. Basically, Tim is the man.The install went smooth, their team was in and out in a couple hours and showed up exactly when they said they would. I’m so happy I found C&D and chose them for my project.If you’re even considering granite (or quartz/other stones), C&D is the spot. Affordable, great turnaround, and amazing customer service.”
“We had Paul do the tiling for our 3/4 bathroom. He basically did a complete shower build as well as flooring and trim tile. Paul did a beautiful job, often working late nights and weekend days to finish on time. He even fixed our sink, a broken window, and a few other repairs that he was under no obligation to fix; and he did it without us even asking. He even got rid of the old shower that we ripped out and cleaned up our garage even cleaner than how it was when he started. I can’t say enough good things about Paul, he is the most hard working person I have met. Very kind, generous, local guy and all for a very fair price. Paul is Ukrainian and still has family he supports back in Ukraine. He is very responsive anytime I texted or called him. He explains everything he does and why and I trust that the project was done right without any shortcuts. I was looking for a rare brick for my '57 all brick and stone rambler. Dan, my sales rep, is so nice and resourceful. He knew exactly what brick my house was and located a sample for me to compare. Pricing was provided within 24 hrs and contractors get a discounted rate. Hopefully all works out and I can update my review.
