“Nice neighborhood market that skews a bit more towards an upscale Bodega. Good for a quick trip when you just need a few items, but too pricey for a big grocery run.Happy to see some high quality local meats and baked goods. We're lucky to have this place just down the road from work because they carry a lot of nice prepared sandwiches for lunch.”
“Big Steer Meats is a delicious asset to the East Side! Today we grilled the Al Capone and the Italian Stallion steaks! Best steaks ever! Not only the incredible stuffing but the cuts of steaks were prime, beautifully marbled and perfectly aged and seasoned! Buying the goods was as much fun as grilling! Your questions are welcomed and great choices are everywhere! From prepared dinners of sliced beef or lasagna to the many, many brats and beef sticks, salads, lunch meats, raw meat....there is no shortage of delicious food! We can't wait to go back, it is our new favorite place!”
“Great little market for meat and more; including fresh, frozen, and pantry foods. Deli counter serves Broaster chicken and sides as well as deli sandwiches and different lunch specials daily. Slushies and Bridgeman's ice cream also available. Staff was friendly and helpful so if you like to support local, give them a try!”
“Flicker Meat is such a gem to our area. Everyone is always so kind and helpful, even when I walk in having no idea what to get - they always have great ideas and suggestions. Picked up a couple steaks today that were phenomenal sous vide and then grilled. Had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich for lunch and it was heavenly. Highly recommend. They sell a local honey butter that is divine as well.”
“What an amazing experience. I went straight to the meat counter. The guy behind the counter was awesome. He is the owner. Don't remember his name. Went in for hamburger and left with 7lbs. Only went for 4lbs. Lol. He was just so friendly and knowledgeable that i just bought more. They also offer homemade beef Italian sausage so hard to find. Since i don't eat pork. Finding beef bacon there was like heaven. Nobody carries it. So if you haven't tried it, you need to. Mmmmmm. Thank you for making my experience amazing. I will keep coming back.”

“We purchased a 1/4 cow in May and have been extremely pleased that we did so. The steaks all cuts have been excellent and taste wonderful. Extremely lean hamburger not even having to drain after browning and wonderful roasts. I have already recommended them to several friends and family s all that have eaten with us have been impressed.We most certainly will be purchasing from them again and have the bonus add of supporting one of our local farmers”
