One of the best beer brats I've had.Also, their original brat is not only tasty but also low fodmap with no garlic/onion, which is hard to find for folks with food sensitivities! They were super helpful when we asked about ingredients and measurements.Beer brats are a bit spendy but definitely worth it. I'll be stopping by again soon!”

“Nice neighborhood market that skews a bit more towards an upscale Bodega. Good for a quick trip when you just need a few items, but too pricey for a big grocery run.Happy to see some high quality local meats and baked goods. We're lucky to have this place just down the road from work because they carry a lot of nice prepared sandwiches for lunch.”

“I grew up on the Eastside. I know live in a southern suburb yet the ONLY meat sore i will visit is Big Steer. The staff of men are all welcoming, great prices and my latest find there is their jumbo pickles. “What an amazing experience. I went straight to the meat counter. The guy behind the counter was awesome. He is the owner. Don't remember his name. Went in for hamburger and left with 7lbs. Only went for 4lbs. Lol. He was just so friendly and knowledgeable that i just bought more. They also offer homemade beef Italian sausage so hard to find. Since i don't eat pork. Finding beef bacon there was like heaven. Nobody carries it. So if you haven't tried it, you need to. Mmmmmm. Thank you for making my experience amazing. I will keep coming back.”

“We had Von Hanson's cater our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience! Food was excellent! Service was excellent!I also want to make sure to mention that, even though they are primarily a butcher shop, they also provided some great vegetarian options for our friends and family who do not eat meat.I do not recall the names of the two people who worked our event. I was the groom, and got a lot of names thrown at me that day, but they were fantastic. For the owners, our event was on 9/16/23 at 6pm. The two people who worked it were amazing.”

“The ribs here are big, juicy, tender, flavor-packed perfection. They have a ribs special on Thursdays, but I believe you can get ribs here any day of the week. They have a large assortment of side dishes, frozen meats, and even dog bones. Don’t be fooled by the unsuspecting exterior, this place doesn’t mess around when it comes to good food!”
