Holly K & Nathan @ the North St. Paul location are great! Real people with real answers and no bs. Facility is clean and well-kept. Nice, large bays. Plenty of room to work with, when dealing with large objects. Decent rates with a clear understanding of costs over time.

Typical low-effort, manic depressive customer service you can expect from people in the Minneapolis /St Paul area.
The bathroom is secured by lock, and only available during "office hours" where you have to notify the staff of your need to use the bathroom and they escort you and unlock the door ...
Because apparently the people in the city can't be trusted to use a bathroom so they have decided to keep it unusable for the most port, and locked up....
No one makes like hard for themselves like the people in the Minneapolis/St Paul area.

Went and got a unit today and was very impressed. The place is clean and well secured, and the gal who helped me in store (Holly) and their over the phone customer service rep were both very kind and helpful

I called Storage Mart and a sales representative answered (I initially thought it was someone working at N St. Paul location). Sales rep was fantastic with answering my questions. I didn't have to commit anything over the phone other than my name and current address to reserve a storage unit (I chose a 10x10). I didn't have to pay my special price over the phone - I told sales rep I wanted to see the unit before choosing to commit. I gave sales rep my email, name, and address and the unit was reserved.The next day, I went into the N St. Paul location to check out the unit. I was greeted by one of the best person I have ever met: Holly K (general manager of N St. Paul location). I explained to her my situation and she did not judge me at all, only showed understanding and enjoyment in helping me. We walked to the unit and it looked great; seeing it in-person confirmed to me that our belongings would fit into a 10x10. I had questions after seeing the unit and Holly answered every question and further explained anything I was confused about (I'm not too bright). Holly was patient and showed only enjoyment and enthusiasm in the work she does (helping ppl with a storage unit).I want to thank Holly for giving me such an amazing experience as a first-time storage unit renter. Holly's demeanor to her experience in customer service really sold me on renting with Storage Mart. If Holly were employed by another storage company, I might follow her there. LolI tried looking up part-time employment t opportunities with N St. Paul location, but unfortunately there were no current openings. I would have loved to help Holly manage the N St. Paul Storage Mart on weekends.5/5 stars experience, all thanks to Holly. ?
