“This location has a good thorough manager that can communicate. Which is the minority within Extra Space. Other locations treat you like dirt. Extra Space as a whole makes it hard to get traction on issues.”

They are one of my top choices largely because Sandy, the location manager, is absolutely fantastic. She is patient, efficient, friendly, and very accommodating. It is also crystal clear that she knows this business and facility extremely well and maintains an efficient, clean, and light hearted facility. “I am responding to the Google review posted 2 weeks ago by a previous customer and will state the facts of what occurred and how it was handled.The incident that Deanna Reed reports took place in June 2018, 2 years and 4 months ago. On June 24th, 2018, the customer called the storage office to report that her unit had been broken into. The manager met the customer at the storage unit an hour after her call. Customer reported that the lock on the unit was locked when she arrived, additionally, there was no damage to the lock, unit door or any other storage units. The customer reported that a number of things were gone from the unit. She stated it had been at least 2 months since she had been to the unit, but was not sure when she had been there last.Stillwater Advance Self Storage does have surveillance cameras which cover the unit rented by this customer. Our system consultant reviewed the video available and found no suspicious activity, which was reported to the customer and sheriff’s deputy handling the report.The manager and owner of Stillwater Advance Self Storage strive to provide good customer service to our renters. To say that the owner was not helpful is inaccurate, as he did all that was possible given the circumstances.Manager, Stillwater Advance Self Storage”

“Great access I just wish it was 24 hours great price as long as it stays the same I will stay but if they hike it Up I'll be finding a new spot. Nowhere in my rental agreement did I read that it was going to get hiked up so hopefully we're good.
Damn I should have read the reviews before coming here. Shoot something happens to my truck due to no security that's messed up. Camera's don't stop no one if no one is watching. I have a decent price right now so honestly I guess if there's no security I'm fine paying the price that I'm paying but like I said you hike it up I'm leaving. Because what is the point of paying more if there's no security and you don't give me 24 access.”
“I wanted to express my appreciation for how this facility is run and maintained. We chose this storage facility in August 2021 for it's proximity to our house and have not had a bad, or even difficult, experience since. It is always clean, well-maintained, accessible and secure. The communication is clear, simple to understand and straightforward. Holly is a welcoming presence and handles any issue or question with quick and in-depth knowledge. The facility is laid out in a sensible manner and carts are always available and where you expect them. Because of this ease of use, I didn't realize "how good we've had it" here until a recent frustrating experience at a different company's storage locker in Edina for my mother. More Space Self Storage has clearly set a standard for my future expectations of any storage facility. Thank you.”

“My son rented a unit from the Oakdale locations and because of some unforseen circumstances some friends and I had to make sure the unit got cleaned out. Everyone we worked with was very professional and easy to work with. I especially worked with Jessie most often. I had a very pleasurable experience and will definitely recommend renting if you need storage. My son also said he was pleased the whole time he rented with them. If we good give more stars we would definetely deserving of a 5+ rating!”
