“I am writing to let you know that on Oct. 13, 2021, I will be a customer of American Family Insurance for 50 years!On Oct. 13, 1971, I turned 16 and got my driver’s license. Everyone remembers that day. I got coverage on my parents’ family plan through American Family Insurance.After college, I needed my own auto policy. I looked in the phone book and called the Randy Svendsen Agency in Plymouth. After purchasing a home, we added a homeowners and an umbrella policy. I stayed a customer of Randy’s and LuAnn’s agency until their retirement. We considered Randy and LuAnn to be part of our family. They met me as a single woman, saw me get married, have 2 kids and buy a house.Why did I remain a customer for so long? The service is outstanding and people who work for AMFAM care about their customers beyond just getting a paycheck. Of course I can get lower cost insurance elsewhere; but I can’t put a price on excellent service.The service excellence with the Mayhew Agency is the same as it’s been for me the last 50 years.
