“We were in Grand Meadow for a car show over the weekend on a Saturday. The 67 Gto drove great getting there, but when we left the car wouldn't shift out of 1st gear. We drove it to L&M figuring we would leave it there and see if they could fit us in next week. Less the owner happened to be in the shop on a Saturday afternoon and kindly helped us out. A vacuum line came unhooked. He diagnosed the problem, gave us his tools, and supervised as we fixed the line to get home. 5 ? stars from us!!!! Thank u Less for helping us out to get us home.”

“I have only one complaint. To use your web site to schedule an appointment for service is useless. I just go in circles and cannot schedule an appointment. The only way to schedule a service appointment is to call Pete.I would like to report back on this review that Pete called me the very next morning to see what he could do to remedy the problem I was having. It is very possible that I am at fault by being on the wrong website. I will bring in my computer at my service appointment to figure out what I did wrong.House Chevrolet has been my only service provider since buying my vehicle from them in 2016. They have always gone out of their way, especially Pete Schreiber their service manager, to provide the very best in customer relations and service. His fast response and eagerness to solve my problems only exemplifies their commitment to the finest principles of customer relations and service. With that in mind I would give them a 6 star rating if it were possible.”

“Shout out to a great family owned shop, fixed what the previous shop basically destroyed and stole my money to prevent. Rosco's Repair in Grand Meadow and Rose Creek, MN.Here's the shots of timing chains, gears, tensioner, guides and water pump destroyed due to incompetence and failure to replace the components that were guaranteed to be replaced. Stay away from S & S Auto Repair in Rochester MN. Not only did they likely not replace anything but they didn't put oil in, cross threaded the alternator bolts, snapped several of my skid plate bolts, snapped the positive battery cable extension, and overtightened both my original oil filter and the drain plug.All those parts were found in the oil pan screen filter, luckily nothing made it through to the engine.If you are ever in need of Honest, Quality, and Fair work, they are the place to go. I will definitely be going back for those beyond my skill repairs.”

“These guys were the only ones who would patch a tire at 5:50pm when everyone was closed or said they weren't going to fix it. Also I was a couple cents short in cash and they accepted the amount anyway. Real good people here!”

“I recently had my car repaired at House Chevrolet in Stewartville, Mn due to hitting a deer. I made the appointment in September to repair the car on November 10. I received a call from Gary on the Friday before my appointment, reminding me of my appointment. I brought my car in on November 10 and received a call on November 13 that my car was repaired and ready for me to pick up. My car looks like new!!

“Had a great experience. Got a sudden flat tire when in Stewartville at 5:18pm on a Monday on our way to Mayo Clinics. No spare in a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. Resident suggest calling Steve, he ordered a tire in case I needed it, came to my parked van in Casey's parking lot while my wife and I headed to Mayo by Uber, took off the tire and checked it out the next morning. Next day I called after our appointments, he said he was able to repair the tire, and didn't want me spending the money for a tire needlessly! Very reasonable charge, and I could have not asked for more from a man who went over and above for an 'out of towner' from Iowa!”

“Your service department was phenomenal. My Cadillac ELR died 1.5 miles from their shop. We live out of state and I was transporting my hubby to Mayo Clinic in Rochester. I called their Service Department and they called a tow truck for me. It was close to closing time and they didn’t have a loaner or rental car available on short notice. Tim in the service department took a 2026 SilvErado EV truck off their sales lot and made sure I was able to get my husband with heart monitors on back to Mayo for radiation treatments. At the end of the week we returned their truck and they had my Cadillac repaired the best they could , washed up and ready to go. The kindest (3) gentleman in that service and repair department I have ever dealt with. My hubby has end stage cancer and they made a frightening situation turn into the best service I’ve ever had from any dealership in my life! Kudos to those who cared at the Spring Valley Dealership to help us in our time of need. When I need my next vehicle (which sounds like will need to be soon), I’m going to drive out of state back to them to buy it. Thank you for all you guys did and for trusting us with that brand new truck while our repairs were done.”

“AES fixed my original almost 20 year old car alternator in under an hour, cleaned off all the belt dust too. 1/4 of the price of a new one from a parts store. Will definitely be back and will recommend to all. Very friendly folks to work with. I wish these services were advertised better, as doing a google search for alternator rebuild and/or repair doesn't come up with much other than plenty of auto shops that just replace them. AES is the only place I know of that does this work in Rochester/ SE MN area. They likely do more work on ag equipment but do automotive too.”
