“I wanted to give a shout out to a young lady, Danielle, who was working in the garden area yesterday. After asking her if the storehad more of a particular flower, she said that all of the flowers were just in this one spot and that they would get more in the coming days hopefully. About 10 minutes later she found me and told me that she had found some more that had been hiding under the area where they were on display. She had made a point to take another look and was so excited when she found me, that I hadn't left the store yet. It is so refreshing to find a young lady working at a place that obviously takes pride in her work and helping the customer not to leave empty-handed. Thanks again Danielle!”

“It was late in the day and the bright sun was sinking deeper towards the skyline when I had a bit of an unexpected mishap with my motorcar. I turned off the highway to the first place I saw open. There was a chipper young lad out front doing some end of the day cleanup who promptly asked me if I needed any help before I even hit the front door. I exasperatedly tried to convey my dilemma and he responded that maybe his more seasoned coworkers could be of some help. As promised right inside the door were two wise-looking folks ready and willing to assist me in my quest. Without skipping a beat they sent me to aisle 21 where I was promptly met by the man who would later become my knight in shining armor. I should have known by the faint glow that illuminated around his salt and pepper hair as he floated down from the heavens, descending among the bungee cords and ratchet straps from above. He had me lead him to my chariot where he assessed my dire straits. Suddenly, as almost with a flick of an invisible wand, before I could even utter the words “locally strong” he had repaired my carriage and i was off riding into the sunset, briefly glancing in my rear view only to see him fading off into the distance. I will never forget you Jeff and the lovely family at Rogers True Value. You are truly extraordinary. Truly marvelous. Truly magical.”

“I delivered drywall last night, I called three times to inform them of my arrival. Once around 4:30p, another at 9p (this one didn't go through properly, and the final one around 9:20p. Each time, they answered promptly and were very friendly. They started unloading around 9:40p it took them until 11:30 ish to finish. They helped get my tarps on my bed, and took off the remaining edge protectors I couldn't reach. I was able to park here overnight. I went inside around 7a to freshen up in the bathroom. Well one of the janitors was starting to clean the bathroom. He really made my experience AMAZING! He thought I was in a rough patch, because I was in the process of brushing my teeth. He offered me money to help, which I didn't take. I thanked him for his kindness and was on my way. The employees here are truly top notch! It's been so long since I've seen a true act of kindness, these people need to be protected at all cost!”
