“My family has used Thurber Jewelers the last several years for all of our jewelry needs. The reason that we keep going back is truly because of the service provided. If there is something that you're not finding, they will help you find the right thing. Both Hannah and Andi helped me select nice bracelets for my daughters for the holidays. More importantly they knew what they were selling and knowing it would be a great fit. I have my favorites on my wish list so when it comes to special events, my husband knows what he is selecting is something I will love. When we came back from a trip, I had bought a bracelet abroad. Andi instantly took the bracelet to ensure that she could check it for me to ensure that it was authentic. I wasn't charged a thing! We are currently in the process of creating something special for my wedding ring for our 25th wedding anniversary. Andi knows that this is something that takes time and isn't a snap decision. IT'S IMPORTANT! She is patient and always willing to help create something to ensure it's the right thing. Not only is Thurber Jewelers local, but always willing to give back to our community! I love that about them! I would recommend Thurber Jewelers to anyone!!!”
“Very personable, knowledgeable and patient! Great communication.
So happy with the repairs, cleaning and resizing of my heritage wedding ring. Both that and my Wedding ring looks brand new!! Beautiful work!”
“Sean and Jake were awesome. Very friendly people. Good environment over here for sure. They were knowledgeable, talkative, and helped me out quickly. Definitely will continue business with them!”
“Met a nice lady when I went to the jewelry store. I had a watch that I wore to work everyday, it needed a little piece on my band clip that was bent and kept falling off my wrist. Randy was in the back and the nice lady brought him the watch and said it's a challenge but he doesn't like to lose.
Well, after a few minutes , Randy came out and had me try it on. It's perfect, back to the way it was. I asked him how much and he said nothing. Asked me my name and gave me his name. What a nice place. Thank you Randy!! And sorry I didn't get your name too, Miss Nice lady!”
“Pretty cool place. Some creepy old dolls in vintage woven baskets and some creaky basement. Overall wonderful place to go to with lots of stuff. Owners were cool and had having fun with their buddies so it was good ?”
“Their goldsmith Chris was able to repair a unique, bronze, heirloom belt buckle of mine, that needed a new belt loop. I wasn't sure how it would turn out but it was done quickly and way beyond my expectations, for a very very reasonable price! I was blown away. I've taken many things to Gould's for service and repair and always been satisfied. They have great knowledge and experience.”
“I love this location!!!! The store manager Sherri helped my fiancé and I months ago after an online order for my engagement ring went horribly awry…Sherri made the efforts another location wouldn’t. She not only made things right, but turned this bride to be’s fears and tears into smiles. All the staff is great, but giving another shout out to Desiree, who over the last few weeks has helped immensely in finding my wedding band for the upcoming nuptials in August.
Desiree cleaned and inspected all our jewelry (and we have a lot-the tray/holder was full between what we own). As we browsed, I asked if she could look up a ring I looked at awhile back. She didn’t have that in stock, but let me look at and helped me find a gorgeous wrap/enhancer for my engagement ring. Due to the unique pear shape and halo, we thought it may need a custom design. Desiree’s attention to detail and how easily she picks up on a person’s style is only part of what makes her a great person to buy jewelry from. She is patient, funny, personable and I couldn’t ask for better service if it was from her manager Sherri! We will never go to another location again, unless we are just window shopping and have this store do our order-their service is hard to beat!!!”
“Miss Char did such a great job piercing my daughters ears! She was so calm and explained every detail, she knew exactly what she was doing and did an amazing job! Definitely would recommend her, we had a great experience!”
“Took a series of buses out here—two hours one way, it turns out—for a great deal they'd posted online. After meandering 200 years through a dense, winding forest path, I finally entered Twin Cities Pawn covered in sweat and reeking of cigarettes.
The employees were incredibly helpful in handling the MASSIVE item for me, somehow managing to cram it inside a comically small backpack I'd brought along.
I'd also brought a Yukio Mishima novel (that had nothing to do with this sale) bookmarked with a napkin full of notes I'd taken (yes, on a napkin). I proceeded to leave this book on the counter after my purchase, lumbering back out the door with my teeny backpack bursting at the seams. Calling TCP from a bus stop about 45 minutes later, I was reassured that they had the novel and would hang onto it for me.
This was months ago, and I have yet to return. If these guys are still holding my book in their office, I'm naming my firstborn after one of them.
Oh, and still super happy about the purchase.”
