Dr. Katie treated several of my horses colic episodes with so much expertise and empathy. This team saved his life so many times. When it came time to euthanize my horse, Dr. Gabi was so amazing. I am so grateful for their amazing care.”

“I recently adopted a dog and decided to take him to Rum River Vet because the vet we previously used retired. You never know what to expect with a new place. However, I was very impressed with the facility and the level of care and attention that my dog received. They also went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable by using a treat feeder mat which distracted him when they drew his blood. I also noticed that they try to make vet care as affordable as possible, which is always helpful. I was able to use a new client coupon which entitled him to a free vet visit and exam and I also received a free Heartguard tablet. I would definitely recommend Rum River Vet.”

“When my regular vet could not get our 12 week puppy in due to no openings in their schedule, I was referred by them to Andover Animal Hospital. Our puppy was vomitting and lethargic. The receptionist was amazing, asked lots of questions, told me to bring him in right away and they would bring him back right when I arrived. The tech and doctor saw him right away. They were very thorough and spent a lot of time analyzing him and making sure he was going to be okay. They went over our options and really helped ease my concerns. They did some test and were able to get him to eat. If symptoms continued, they explained the next steps and when to bring him in again. By that evening he was back to himself and feeling much better. I just want to thank everyone at Andover Animal Hospital for their urgency and willingness to see us right away. I think we will be making this clinic our permanent home for all future visits.”

“I love this place. I found out about them when I was taking care of my father before he passed away. He had a little poodle and I had to take her in a couple times for something and was always extremely impressed by their kindness and care for all the animals that were there. My cat recently was ill and had been bitten or scratched, not sure. I was so sad because I couldn't find affordable care for him anywhere! Even through the organizations that say they are for low income residents. That whole day something kept nagging at the back of my brain telling me to call these guys and see what they work has do or charge. I'M SO GLAD I DID!!! They were able to put my heart at ease and got us in right away and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Thank you, thank you, thank you! From the bottom of my heart ❤ My cat was treated with live and the care he needed to get better and he's fine now and I'm so happy and will never forget their kindness.”

“Pay $120 a month for a puppy plan then when the dog is sick and you need to use one of those “included” vet visits, they don’t have an appointment an say you can call around or can book for a later date. What if my dog doesn’t make it that long? Don’t sign up for any plans here. Update: Received a call from the hospital manager and asked about the issue. I explained the situation. She explained that it should of been handled differently and will address the staff to make sure this doesn't happen again. It was a pleasant conversation. Hopefully this a one and done thing. Changed the stars because they reached out and were kind.”

We ended up having to put our sweet & spicy cat Captain (Cappy) down yesterday due to his deteriorating heart issues, and they were so kind, compassionate, explained the whole process, and allowed me to hold our boy as he passed. “I brought my 16 year old cat here last month. I knew she was reaching the end of her life with kidney disease but I was unsure about timing for euthanasia. Dr Button was incredibly compassionate, took the time to truly listen through my tears, and helped guide me through the decision without pressure, focusing on my cat’s quality of life and the bond we shared. When I ultimately chose euthanasia, I felt supported and at peace with the decision. The process itself was handled with great care and dignity, and what I feared would be a traumatic experience was instead a calm, peaceful, loving goodbye. Even though this was my first time at Banfield, I was sent a meaningful card in the mail along with my cat’s paw prints, which I had no idea I’d receive. With many grateful tears, I had to write this review. When I am ready to add another fur baby to my home, I will absolutely be returning.”
