“I learned how to swim in the main pool... 50 years ago! I guess they got rid of the high diving board for liability reasons, but that used to be the best part of the pool. This was also the main place in town for kids to hang out in the 70's (they had a cool game room in the old front building with pinball and pool tables, open gym and pool, and summer sports leagues).”

“The American Legion is the best place around Red Wing. If you are looking to be welcomed this is the place to go! They always have something fun going on and the greatest bar staff to help. Every other Friday they have a fishy fry that you can not get a better deal on anywhere else. Second Tuesday of the month they have Taco Tuesday with a meat raffle, Saturdays they have bingo! This club is open to everyone!”
