Kind and knowledgeable doctors who offer flexible care options based upon the age and needs of your pet. I like that they specialize in western and holistic treatments. Highly recommend.

I love that Dr Cook explains what she's doing and why when treating Milo. It's important to us to understand the diagnosis and treatment.

My dog was very well cared for and Dr. Lahner did a great job with his surgery. I’d recommend anyone take their pet to The Bluffs!

I have taken my pets to The Bluffs Pet Clinic since 2011, when I moved to the area. Drs. Cook and Lahner, the vet techs, and front desk staff are all very caring, professional, supportive, and of course very knowledgeable . I highly recommend the The Bluffs Pet Clinic. Thank you for all of your care!!

A very competent, friendly staff ... always thorough.... they spend the time to diagnose and determine a treatment plan for any issues that turn up, what the cost will be, and the lines of communication are always open. Been going there for years. Love them !!!

**Update***. Thank you Dr Cook for calling last night. And Thank you Dr Lahner for suggesting Quad Dewormer. I’ve upped my stars. And to those in Goodhue County.. if your dog uhhh... dispatches a possum…get some some Quad.I grew up bringing pets to Dr Schauderhoff and Dr Detlefson to the clinic out by KCUE in the a’60s..so I had no concerns bringing my Reggie to the Bluffs when I was home visiting in 2000.I was very impressed and pleased with the service I got when Cooper burst his stitches on a wound earlier this year.. BUT.. I guess I’ll ask for the results tomorrow for the fecal I dropped off last Wednesday… a week ago so can get some meds for my Cooper. Maybe I’m spoiled by my Vet in FL??? I’m used to dropping off a sample and getting meds later that day? I did just get a call 5:45.. I’ll be picking up his results and taking him to another vet. Not sure if Blackdog can help.. or I guess I can bring him up to the Emergency Vet n Apple Valley. It shouldn’t be this hard. And to top it off I’m dealing with 20 year old kitty on his last legs. Is there a full time Vet at the Bluffs? For pete sake you can’t prescribe meds for tapeworm??? And you don’t have the drugs there to dispense???

We have a 6lb Chihuahua that one vet told us she had kidney disease. We learned of your clinic being able to do Eastern medicine as well as Western. We have always been a fan of homeopatics! We made an appt and saw Dr Cook. She was AMAZING! She took so much time with our baby and explained that she did not have the kidney disease, but just an infection in the kidneys. She gave us an antibiotic amongst other things and within 2 days, Bella is eating and feeling a lot better. Thank you to Dr Cook and the wonderful staff she has! Thank you for saving Bella's life!!

Lied about pricing and coverage, over charged us at every turn. Harassed us late into the evening with calls about how no one in town will treat our pets after they call around.

I went in for animal care and they offered me a care plan that they told me I could cancel at anytime free of charge (as long as it wasn't abusive month of getting it type thing). Now that I have cancelled (8 months of service in) they call me late into the evening and harass me and then when I try to explain to them why I cancelled and the care plan didn't cover what I originally got it for, they are aggressive and hang up the phone on me. I talked to local care places and they all said that the bluffs is terrible. I told them (the bluffs) that I would not be going to them for care anymore and he told me "well then I'll call all the local clinics and tell them not to help you so you can't get care for your cats". What kind of shady business does that for animal care. Also they overcharge for "holistic treatments" that did not help my sick cat at all. Other clinic gave actual medicine that cleared him up in 48 hrs.

Dr. Lahner has been my family's life savior, and I cannot say greater things about my experience with her during a time of desperation. After horrible surgery aftercare and neglect from another local vet, Dr. Lahner and the Bluffs Clinic Staff swept in and catered to my Ozzie to bring him back from an inch of death. Words will never describe how grateful I am for all the staff to stay open late to help me in such a time of need. They did a great job catering to my pets, and myself, during traumatic events that I will be forever indebted to them for. Please enjoy pictures of Ozzie and Archie after the trauma they both experienced within the same week. Thank you, Bluffs, for the compassion and promise to do what's best for my pets and for taking them both in when disaster, and emergency, struck.

Dr Lahner and Dr Cook are fabulous. My corgi was paralyzed and went through surgery. Her acupuncture at the clinic has been an integral part of her recovery and maintenance.
