“Itasca Wine & Spirits is my husband’s and my neighborhood liquor store. We love visiting for a bottle of wine and catching up with the staff.
We rented the private room at the back of the store for our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. We LOVED it and want to host and attend more events here.
Jason is so nice and easy to work with providing extremely reasonable prices. He thought of everything when it came to the event space. This was a major highlight of our wedding weekend.”

“What a lovely shop! I appreciated the tags on each varietal with descriptions and pairings. I left with an excellent wine from Cyprus which was fascinating. Nice selection of liquor/cordials as well. Small parking lot accessible from Grand St. or the alley behind the building. Street parking as well. Handicapped accessible. Between Violet Wine and Small Hours a couple blocks away, NE MPLS has wonderful wine connoisseurs! Support local businesses!”
“I had been searching high and low for some Vilmart for New Years, when the sweethearts at Vinai sent me here. What a find. Expertly curated to pull you in and foment conversation, their selection of natural and organic wines isn’t just for the fad followers but fit for any occasion—sitting on the couch or hosting everyone you know. Beyond that, their staff’s depth of knowledge is formidable and they are not just open to chat but delightfully friendly. Leslie, the owner, wasn’t there, but I am looking forward to taking advantage of the classes and discussions I am told she offers.”

Loads of THC beverages, a health selection of hard liquor, and one of the best local choices of beers and seltzers. I love that you can buy singles. And, the owner/employees are always friendly and helpful. This is probably my favorite local liquor store - highly recommended.”

“Had no clue this amazing liqour store existed! A friend of mine walks past it on their way to work, therefore knew of it being there. The selection they carry, in terms of spirits, is quite impressive. Being a bartender and someone that appreciates the vast expanse that is variable nuances within the flavor profiles of different liqours, I could have spent a long time looking at all of the spectacularly curated options. Check this place out, if you're looking for something out of the ordinary. Highly recommend!”
“I'd suggest giving Stilly's a try. It's a great alternative to Truly. The taste is phenomenal for the cleaner finer palate. It's natural. So there's no dopamine crash.
But the store... yep they'll give you a cold selection and always get you what you need. And it's easy, even if it's a full parking lot. Always great service x.”
“My favorite cocktail to make is a white negroni, which requires Suze. When I moved to Minneapolis I went on a sort of wild goose chase in search of this French aperitif which I thought was commonplace, but soon I found that no stores seemed to carry it, and most employees of the various liquor stores I went to had no clue what I was talking about. I felt insane. Had I hallucinated the existence of this brilliant yellow nectar? It was to the point where I would pore through photos in google reviews of various establishments, zooming in on shelves full of liqueurs, all in vain. Then, one day, I was walking home to my brand new apartment and happened upon Lowry Hill Liquors, two blocks from my place. Practically my backyard. I entered the store, expecting nothing. But There She Was. Suze. My Beloved.
LHL has just the best supply of everything. Beer selection far outclasses nearby alternatives. Suze and Lillet Blanc always in stock. Great prices. A wide variety of THC/CBD products in all flavors, brands, and strengths. Rotating deals that feel like stealing, they’re so damn good. They email you coupons every month if you get on their list, and, boy, you ought to. My favorite liquor store. There are no other options. Thank you.”
“Buying locally made breakfast sausage and selecting a coffee for friends coming to town. Lots of choices and it just feels like home. A calm and tidy place with good selection and specialties. It just feels like NE which, to me, is home.

I tried the Cuban sandwich and it is really well done. All of the ingredients are high quality and well distributed throughout the sandwich ( essential for a good Cuban! ). “This place is a great community staple for liquor shopping. There are many locations with pretty wide selections of booze and beer along with very helpful, punctual and friendly staff. They unfortunately dont have any snacks, soda or much other non-alcoholic mixes/drinks. But they sell cigarettes including menthol! Plus the cheapest BIC lighters you will find for only $1.50!”

They have a surprisingly good selection for the size of the store. They do a really good job selecting a variety of liquors, beer, and wines. Their prices are just as good or better than any of the larger stores in town, and it's really convenient right off HWY 55.
