“Super great place. I went for the $1.99 sale on their anniversary, and I do wish they had posted the rules on their social media as I was surprised I only had 10 minutes to shop. But overall, everyone was super friendly and the clothes were well organized, clean, cute and cheap. I will definitely be back!”

“I actually went to this place months ago in February for my gf and I’s 4 year anniversary (still going strong by the way!), since it’s hard to find good plus sized clothing at thrift stores and without spending an exorbitant amount of money…. What a lovely place!! The owner was a sweetheart and gave us free stickers for our anniversary, and we tried out the clothes- we were both very impressed by how good the clothes were. There were all sorts of different styles, different clothing types, and my gf bought a pretty button on. She wore it recently for a formal event and she felt comfortable in it the whole time- the place isn’t massive, this isn’t a Walmart or anything, but it doesn’t need to be. Instead, it’s sweet, charming and it’s clear that it’s owned by a very passionate person. We absolutely hope to come by again eventually!”

“Very unique thrift store that is always getting in very interesting items. Very friendly staff. The only bad thing I'll say is the layout of the store is a bit chaotic and could use a bit better management on that part. That one thing aside this is a fun place to check out. Especially both for those looking for good bargains and to support local businesses.”

Their collection is really something special. I found it super fun to imagine what a dress could be with reconstruction/alteration! There’s also an impressive selection of craft supplies, along with a large furniture area filled with affordable, practical pieces. Whether you’re hunting for books, creative supplies, furniture or an unexpected bargain, this place is definitely worth exploring. Give yourself plenty of time to look around because there’s a lot to discover!”

“Flamingos is an absolutely magical place! I love taking out-of-town visitors there to introduce them to the quirky, silly, fun side of Minneapolis. They are consistently blown away by both the vibes and the excellent selection of vintage wares. It’s always a joy to peruse each room, and I often do multiple laps per visit. There’s so much to see, and I’ve found some incredible pieces here. My favorite finds are a glass butterfly lamp, a handmade teapot, two vintage teal wooden chairs, and a lovely original painting. My partner has found some incredible vintage men’s clothes too, especially flannels.”
“I was thoroughly impressed that they had a plus size section to rival the straight size section. I believe I saw up to 5xl. That was so refreshing to see the inclusivity and thoughtfulness in this store. In addition the place was clean and organized. I will be returning.”

“Tis a dandy place. Cvs always has awesome Halloween specials where you can buy the candy at a good sale price after Halloween. The Family Dollar store is there which generally has a lot of merchandise at a slightly cheaper price, but doesn't have a bathroom. The thrift store is there and has a wonderful vibe to it plus a bathroom with nice manual sinks and paper towels. I never used to shop in thrift stores but now I find myself sometimes doing so. The bar there also has tasty cheese curds. There is also a verizon phone store, a smoke shop, and more stores. I wouldn't recommend the laundry place since the guy was rather peculiar & didn't provide the best customer service.”
“b. is the best. Their inventory changes regularly and they announce big deals via their Instagram when their racks get full, for example they just had a big dress sale. I can always find something here and my style and body has changed a lot in the almost 15 years I've been shopping here. They really support their community in numerous ways and are very transparent about their processes and practices. If you're looking for a super sugary customer service experience that's curated to make you feel good (ie super fake), this probably isn't your place.”

“As a student nearby, I love this place!! Super cute clothing and jewlery. Everything is very affordable. I love my punch card & student discount. The only things are to 1) plan ahead, they don't have extensive hours and 2) don't be afraid to holler for the staff when needed, since they usually stay in the back room!”

“This place is a dream!!! There are bins in the basement level that will consistently be worth the price. And the upper level is new target stuff with tags still on it but marked down! You’re also in a prime area to go get a coffee before or after this thrift!”

“Thrifting is my thing and when you go to Unique, you will be guaranteed to find that specific color shirt, however, expect that it may be the perfect shirt, but not the most ideal perfect price! I know that times are tough for all for costs, but could always be a lower price! It is very nice to be able to get a coupon for when you donate each time, whereas other stores you only get very few special discount days they choose! This store in particular is one of my favorites in the metro area because there is a lot of fun things to look at and unique finds that you can truly find if you take the time! Why would you buy something for full price makes me wonder what the point would be if you could go to Unique and even find brand new clothes never worn or used with the price tag still on it!”
“I am an eBayer who comes to Minnesota often. While here, Savers is a must-go-to place to pick up inventory. This location has much better prices than other Savers. Slightly more run-down area, but you make up for it with better deals that leave some profit for resellers and help with your family budget too. Tons of jerseys for your next backyard game!”

“Good store, lots to see here. A smaller antique mall, mostly housewares & pottery. Some dealers are taking prices too far. ($539 for pyrex bowls? Come on, really!?). Store is all on one level. Has regular sales from certain vendors. Not a lot of “guy stuff”. Which is too bad for those of us who like old tools and actual antiques. This is more of a mid-century store with a few actual antiques throughout.”
