“Great and nice thrift store. I mostly find quality pieces here as far as clothing. They carry some designer and higher name brands as well as everyday brands. But the real quality is in the workers and volunteers. I feel like a get some sweet auntie and grandma time chatting with them every time I visit. Thanks for having great customer service!!”

“My experience here was absolutely great! Thank you very much to all the staff, especially to Mr. Aaron and another guy who answered all my questions. They were all so friendly and accommodating to my questions/requests. I will return here because my husband liked the chair I got. He might get the same thing.”

“I LOVE this place. I live in Missouri and have wanted to visit for a long time and finally got the opportunity a few months ago when I was in Minneapolis. It was absolutely amazing- so inclusive, wonderful staff, good organization, large size range, good prices, fans in the fitting rooms. I bought two pairs of pants off the rack that fit me, which is sometimes hard to find, and also two shirts that have become a part of my regular rotation. I really hope someday there's something similar where I live because I really had the best experience here. No notes.”

“We went the weekend they opened in December. Every booth was different. Quite a great selection and good prices. We got a vintage ceramic Santa, love it! They are now closed for 2 months, then they will open for a few days. I like it. They get all new merchandise from different people, each having their own space to set up. You never know what you will find. We're going back!”

“Free Geek is a great establishment! If you’re into 2nd hand electronics for a low price, Free geek has descriptive labels on all of their inventory so you can purchase with confidence. Also, If you’re looking to experiment with electronics but would prefer not to break the bank, this is a great place to build upon that.”

“This is one of the places for me -and probably everyone has a few on their own list- that made me feel hurt and almost shameful because the moment I walked into the University of Minnesota ReUse Program for the first time I realized how much time I had lost not knowing about its existence sooner.Working with my hands is my passion and the process of discovery is what drives me. My visits to this place are deeply spiritual.”

“Love this spot! I usually purchase things off of their Instagram for pick up. The staff are so kind and are always cheerful when I stop in. The selection is definitely well thought-out and well-priced. You're able to get great clothes at fabulous prices.”

“I've never reviewed a thrift store before but just had to say this is the best one I've ever been to in the Twin Cities! Well organized, clean, and decent prices. Also very friendly staff!”

“Old School is a great asset to the Stevens Square-Loring Heights neighborhood. I stop in regularly to peruse the clothing and have found several pieces from basics to statement pieces that receive lots of compliments.”

“Trying on dresses with Nikolina was the highlight of my wedding dress search. Even my less vintage-inclined friends were impressed with her incredible design knowledge and the vision she cast for modifying each piece to create my own personal aesthetic. She was so fun to work with! Shopping through their selection does require some imagination, but as someone who loves envisioning possibilities, this was half of the adventure. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to create a personal and unique vintage dress or revive a historical piece with sentimental value - you won't regret taking the time to imagine with Nikolina.”

“One of the best thrift stores in the Twin Cities!I love the back room, you can always find some hidden gems back there. They have a good variety of clothing for men and women. Everything is priced very fair and the store is organized to make finding what you’re looking for east. The staff are very friendly and helpful.”

“I recently purchased several end tables from Reuse. The tables were dated and that is exactly what I was looking for. They were in great condition, and very affordable. The store is easy to browse in, very clean and the staff was very helpful and polite. I will shop there again when more selection of sofa's arrive. I only wish Reuse had their own delivery service. Great store!”

“Good prices and selection of course but the PA system in the store just needs to be put out of its misery, lol. Radio sounds fine but then the song ends and it sounds like your great-great-great grandma Gertrude is voicing the store ads straight from her coffin that’s been in the ground since 1874. Great Halloween effect but I would imagine it’s not intentional the other 364 days of the year…”

“Prices seem to be really high ($11 for basic shirts, shorts, ect), and inconsistent (some items being priced high and others low of same quality). Great selection of items, just not the thrifting 'deals' there once were. The staff are lovely, very friendly, feels like a place of community.”

“Coming from a city where the Buffalo locations are extremely messy and subpar, this Buffalo Exchange carries a wide variety of clothes from not just fast fashion brands. It can definitely get a bit cramped trying to squeeze between people and the clothing racks, even on a random weekday around noon.”

“Great prices compared to other thrift stores but tag colors can be hard to determine. I know that sounds silly but grey and blue and white are extremely similar and so are red and orange. So it's easy to get confused at what's actually on sale.”

“Thanks to everyone at this location, in particular, downstairs. On Friday, November 25, 2022 I bought a light blue square business shirt and a royal blue gym bag. $ by the pound for clothes and green price tag for the luggage.More recently I bought a HEAD tennis bag I carry back and forth to Catholic Charities Higher Ground with clothes and papers on the left side and food and beverages on the right side!”
