My grand-daughter recently purchased a new vehicle which ended up having lots of issues. I was referred to Elliot Park Auto Service by another family member, which I am so appreciative. Jim has been honest, compassionate and professional from the beginning. They took the entire engine apart and put a new one in. Jim was up front from the very beginning! He never made me feel like he just wanted a sale. Everything was explained to me from beginning to end! “I have trusted Hawkins for 10 years. As a former GM service technician and shop owner prior to leaving the industry, I am very particular about who services my vehicles. Between my wife and our kids we have had over a dozen cars in their shop through the years. I have never yet had a substandard repair or an unwarranted charge. I felt prompted to write this review while returning from Custer, SD in my 2013 Chevy 2500HD with 270,000 miles on it, towing a 6,000lb camper. I don’t think twice about using my truck hard knowing that it has been well cared for by men who are honest and well qualified. Highly recommend.”

At this particular visit I had taken my car in for an oil change. They called me a couple of hours later when my car was ready, and they had also noticed that the tires (which I purchased from them a couple of years ago) were due for rotation. I appreciated that they altered me to the issue...to be honest the thought of tire rotation hadn't crossed my mind! I'm so glad they pointed it out.

“Someone sideswiped my driver side view mirror off and I was concerned it would be really expensive since it was heated, and had an indicator and it was electric. Northside helped me identify a place to get the part sourced affordably and when I came with the part installed it in a half hour. All in it was less than $250 when I was quoted near $750 without used parts. I’ll be back.”

“All of the complaints about the manager are kind of wild. He was really nice. I had to sit there for 2 hours, so I watched him interact with other people & he seemed to care about his customers ans his job. It is expensive, but getting your car fixed anywhere is expensive, that's life. I would give 5 stars, but I had an issue with my wiper & they fixed it, but didn't check it so it really wasn't fixed. I went right back in & they took care of it in 5 minutes. I just guess the fact that they didn't check it before I did was a little irritating. There was also a lot of oil on my floormat. My car isn't fancy, but I thought they usually put those floor things down. Anyway, it was mostly a good experience & I wouldn't mind going back or referring people to go here.”
