The rooms are consistently described as clean and comfortable, with visitor-controlled heat and AC. While some rooms in the older section are noted as being small, dated, or having worn carpet, they are considered more than adequate. Newer or suite-style rooms are larger. This place caters to people that visit the Mayo Clinic. There is an underground subway that leads to the clinic and to downtown shopping and restaurants. Wonderful personnel here.

Great location to Mayo Clinic. Rooms were very clean. Basic accommodations but terrific service and location out weighed any fancy 5 star offerings. This is now our go to when getting health care at Mayo Clinic - Gonda and Chartlton.

I had to cancel my room a little past check-in, when it turned out I didn't need a room, and they didn't charge me anything. That was far nicer than I expected. I can't say anything about the room quality, though.
