The prices are on the higher end for a second hand store. I've also almost always had the worst customer service. Once I was there at the end of the business day, which I get can be annoying but I got in line with about 3 other people 5 minutes before the store closed (which means it's still open right?! And we were all there to spend money so it's not like we were just wasting their time) and they literally shut the lights off on us and we all stood there in the dark and they were super rude to all of us as we checked out.

Ive tried selling 3 times and its been a joke every time. I typically dropped off two baskets, and they say it would be an hour or so. Maybe 10 min later I got the message my items were ready?? There is no way both baskets were properly looked at. Also they maybe accepted none or maybe two items each time. Im always careful with making sure they are in season great condition clothes, everything is mature, really good name brands too.
Never bringing items again, big waste of time.

Dropped off 3 bags of namebrand clothes a few months ago, first time setting up credit, was told the credit would go to my phone number/account. Went in today to shop and use my credit. Worker stated there was no credit, we checked another phone number just in case it was miscommunication. No credit there either. Worker stared at me blankly & offered no explanation, no apology, no ANYTHING. I will not be going back and plan on telling all my friends how poor the customer service & workflow is at this place! I found one of my shirts in the racks, so who got credit for my clothes-?!!
**Update 5/21/25** Spoke with Brandon regarding the confusion, and appreciated his professionalism & taking the time to clarify what went wrong. Glad to know there is still customer service & connection out there, thanks much Brandon!

I received terrible costumer service from here. The employee that checked me was rude. I will not be selling here ever. I brought in two bags one that had items that were washed and a second bag with clothes and shoes I hardly ever wore and were clean. When I received my bag it seems like they did not go through it. The told me the reason they did not take me is because the clothes need to be washed and due to season.

I’ve always had a good experience selling clothes here until today. I brought in a medium sized box and an older lady checked me in. She was quite rude to me and had a fit when I asked to have notifications sent to a different phone number. The lady with the dark hair is always kind though. Wish this location had friendlier service.

I love shopping at Clothes Mentor! Especially since new ownership in 2024! Great place to get fashionable things at a great price. Also, a good place to sell high end newer items you have in your closet. They are selective on what they take as they take styles that are currently in or that they feel will go fast in our market. I can respect that as most people like to have the newest trends in their closet.

While I enjoy finding great deals on clothes at this store, I've got to be honest about the mixed feelings I have. Sure, the discounts are fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. But, every time I step in, I can't help but cringe at the customer service.It's like a ritual—I ask for a dressing room, and suddenly, it feels like I've committed a crime. The manager, especially, seems to gets irritated about it. No hanging items outside, even when there are hooks! So, I end up going back and forth to the counter, which is seriously inconvenient.The whole vibe in there is tense. It's as if asking a question will trigger a yelling session. I try to be understanding, knowing that customer service can be tough, but it doesn't feel like they're even trying. Sadly, I'm not the only one feeling this way—I've chatted with others who've had similar not-so-great experiences. Here's hoping they can add a dash of true friendliness to their service.
