Employees were not very friendly or welcoming so I choose not to purchase the items I had gone in to buy. I had planned to buy several things because I heard of how wonderful the place was. But once I entered and was not greeted, decided to go elsewhere. I plan to go again and hope the experience will be more positive.

They didn't have what I wanted and the employees had very little knowledge of the products they were offering.

Food is always fantastic. Ham and swiss was awesome with a mini long John to go with it. Perfect breakfast. Little more expensive but the food is delicious!

Best apple fritters in the Midwest! They’ve got great texture, slightly crisp and a smooth glaze with a moist apple cinnamon inside.

Good small town style bakery with cafe. Good prices on small items. The cakes are fancy but an 8in was about $30. They have warm items for lunch too like Sheppard's pie or pie etc.

This is by far the best bakery I have been to and I have traveled around the world. It is a small, but comfortable place with the Best Long-johns you can get, they have amazing wedding cakes and birthday cakes.

Daube's is always delicious and a Rochester staple. I enjoy the S'more donut. Their mini donuts are the perfect size for kids. My husband loves their chocolate chip cookies.

Such a cute place! Everything there tastes amazing. I bought a tiny cake for 5$ and it was so tasty and well made. Their donuts are amazing too!!

We were in town for my appointment for Mayo and I wanted something sweet. We stopped in here and the smell just hits you in the face with a yummy, hometown bakery smell.

I was passing through on 52 after the great blizzard of 2019, and decided that I needed a doughnut. A quick search brought up this place so I figured I’d give it a try. I purchased a butterscotch/caramel donut that had a burnt buttercream filling. It was absolutely amazing! At first I thought the donut might be a little dry, but I think that is the intent as all of the flavors and textures complement each other perfectly!

Their donuts are very flavorful! Worth the price! On top of that great employees greats you when you walk in and there ready to help serve you!

Cute, little bakery. The donuts are light u0026 airy, which is a must. We've been here several times u0026 my kids love it. We have tried many, many different flavors here u0026 they all seem to be tasty.
The s'mores one was fun, but bordered the line of being too sweet if you got everything (frosting, donut, chocolate u0026 marshmallow) in one bite. Can't attest to maple, as I'm not a fan of maple donuts, but my girls loved them. The lemon filled was pretty good as well. My personal favorite, is the cinnamon twist. Delicious cinnamon flavor, without being too sweet.
We did also try some of their cookies when they had the special designs. They are top notch when it comes to the artwork on them. But as far as taste goes, it seemed to lack a little flavor in the cookie itself.

We ordered a gluten free cake for our wedding and were very impressed! The cake was delicious and everyone was commenting on how beautiful and tasty it was. We are so happy we chose to use Daube’s and will be returning customers!

Will not ever spend another $40 on a cake for the way I've been treated over your mistake on giving me a carrot cake that was chocolate. Who even buys a chocolate carrot cake to begin with? Still waiting to hear back from the owner.

My colleague and i saw the bakery on our way back to our hotel. She chose a cranberry cookie. I chose the poppy seed Kolache. Both were delicious. Mine had a perfect flaky pastry. Hers was moist and nutty. We went back three times during our stay.

We used Daube's for the dessert for the wedding reception. The bride and groom choose several types of cupcakes they love as well as their cake (raspberry filling). The cake is to die for and we're still celebrating every night with a piece since the wedding! Head here and your sweet tooth will thank you forever!!

We went here because everyone in the area kept talking about this bakery. While its a nice bakery with a little bit of everything it didn't seem above and beyond other bakeries that I have been to.
They sell their own bread, which was very good, there are a couple of different selections to choose from including a baguette.
Their pastries vary but everyone should find something that they like. At least half of the pastries come filled with either a cream or jelly. No pretzels despite their logo.
They do serve a combination of breakfast and lunch items with a few tables to sit at if you wanted. You can also buy your pastry item and eat it 'in house' if you wanted to.
They have a completely separate area for specialty cakes, for example wedding and birthday cakes. Though I did not use this service I am tempted to use it in the future. They had a lot of different items to choose from and seemed to have several bakers designated just for making these specialty cakes.

Best bakery! I love their cake. My mom always asks to go here when she visits from Vermont!

Some of the best doughnuts and cakes I've ever had, and I've had a lot! I was born in Rochester and spent a lot of time here while growing up to visit family and Daube's was an important destination. Now that we live in Zumbrota, I try to go most times when I am in Rochester running errands. Their Fat French is the most amazing bread that I've never found anything close to elsewhere - basically a giant sandwich loaf but with the character of a french baguette. So good and the smell of it fills your whole car up! Their buttercream is second to none.

Had my first experience at Daubes Bakery today and Ann Jenson and crew are making a fantastic product that sells itself. Everyone at the clinic loved the doughnuts. Great service. Great product. Great job!

Best bakery around. I drive 25 miles just to get an apple fritter or a cinnamon twist donut!! Just went today and a treat! Excellent cakes too.

Stopped through here a few times when in town for work. I got some caramel donut with this frosting on it that was too good. We picked up a day old cake that was half off and I don’t know what they make the frosting with but it was unreal. Light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet without being overbearing. Best frosting ever. Go to here.

Everything. Get everything.
Especially the cream filled long john.
The buttercream is amazing.
O, and the caramel is out of this world.
The maple flavoring is on point.
Don't pass up an opportunity to swing in.
These carbs are worth it.

My favorite was the pecan nut roll. Otherwise, I felt the other donuts were pretty standard for a bakery, but good. Cakes looked very nicely decorated and the building is nicely decorated inside as well.

This was my first visit here, though my wife having lived in Rochester for 35 years is very familiar with the place. I do know they do a fantastic job with specialty cakes and make awesome pastries. We were just here to buy some fresh pastries. My favorite are the Kolachkes they make. My grandmother was from Czechoslavakia and she made them a bit different (I imagine they vary somewhat from country to country, region to region) and a fond memory from my childhood. So the bar is high for me to be happy with anyone else's version. Daube's passes the test! There are a few tables to sit and have coffee and a dessert, but I would not call this a restaurant by any means. The parking lot here is a bit goofy, odd shape and only one way in and out on a narrow driveway.

Stopping at Daube's is one of the highlights of coming to Rochester. The donuts here are so soft and decadent! If you have to pick one donut, I would choose the caramel glaze with burnt buttermilk - the flavor is rich and sweet without being cloying, and it goes deliciously with a cup of coffee.
