Great food and staff. Loved it

Both my tablemate and I ordered the spinach and mushroom quiche. The portion was larger than I expected and was very delicious and filling. We also tried two of their donuts. They were delicious and full of sugar. The long job with cream cheese was too much for one person but quite good. . . We enjoyed looking at all the decorated cookies and cakes inside the bakery as well. There are very talented decorators and bakers here.

Located just off the highway, Daube’s Bakery has a very nice selection of European style pastries, including paczki and kolachi. We purchased an apricot kolachi and a raspberry rose lemon bar. Both were fresh and not too sweet. The kolachi had a very light flaky pastry with a good amount of filling. The lemon bar was just a bit cornstarchy in texture but still very good. Plenty of off street parking. Tables for dining in. They also have pierogi. We will return to try more..

Four of us for breakfast of champions! All very good, and coffee was hot and bold. Cheerful service too.

The Lemon raspberry cake is simply amazing! It is a staple for all family birthdays, we love it.

Delicious local bakery. The usual treats along with fancy options. Very fun intricate cookies. A few gluten free options like coconut macaroons but there is flour in the facility.

Absolutely the worst quiche I’ve ever had. The company has been purchased and it’s clear that the new owners are cutting corners at every possible location. Once one of Rochester’s beloved bakeries, daubes has turned ever disappointing. The taste and quality of their products no longer justify their costs. For a specialty bakery there is absolutely nothing special about it anymore

Solid bakery in Rochester with a great selection of donuts and other goods. Don't be fooled by the exterior aesthetics--inside the bakery has artisan convections and classics alike. We tried two of the donuts and coffee. The maple bar had the most soft and creamy frosting on a donut--definitely worth a try. The classic sprinkle was a bit heavy but still tasty. We received great customer service. Overall, wonderful place to stop by on your way to the clinic, treating yourself on a weekend, or buy some beautiful cakes for a special occasion.

This bakery is the BOMB. Got in early yesterday AM from GA for 16yo nephew's brain surgery at Mayo. Called at 9AM to order cake for brother in law's bday today. Bakery made it work!!! Picked up at 8AM this morning along with a couple brownies. HUGE HIT. Excellent service for a AAA quality yummy in the yummy baked goods!! Would recommend for locals and those transient persons looking to brighten a family members day during dark experiences! Even better, nephew is doing amazingly well following surgery.....

At 30.00 for a small cake I had high expectations - to high apparently. The carrot cake was moist but other than the orange hue it was more like a bland spice cake. No discernible carrot pieces or nuts were seen or tasted. The cream cheese frosting was good and it did a good job making the 5” cake look like a 6” cake. Nothing notable for decoration either. Biggest disappointment was small single size cake - more frosting than cake and dry at that. Next time I will bake my own spice cake and keep the 39.00.

I was at the new location recently. No bread, sandwiches, or some of the other products they sell at the other location. I love to support small businesses, but the coffee was expensive. i paid close to $4.00 for a small latte, which is like really small. The interior was beautiful though.

When you open a new store and advertise iron Facebook and in the Post Bulletin, you make sure that you are prepared to open. Line was out the door and they were out of everything by 11am. No bottle openers for the cokes, no quiche, hardly any donuts left. This is their 3rd restaurant in the area they should know what they need to be prepared to open. Plus they are way understaffed for a grand opening. Big disappointment. Go to the other location until they know what they are doing.

Oh my, every one must try the bacon covered maple long johns, I know it sounds wierd but it is awesome. They also have a wide variety of other delicious items.

Used to love their lower level restaurant...Not anymore. They have a couple of soups, pot pies and quiche for the most part. What ever happened to the gourmet selection of salads? Is Daubes under new ownership, because it's not at all the same..Plus, they're very high priced.

I wish I had a photo to share, but I actually ordered over the phone from Illinois for delivery to a friend who was visiting the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. The staff was extremely helpful when I called, and the baker agreed to make a homemade lemon meringue in time for my friend's birthday. They also coordinated delivery to the hotel to work with her schedule. She was so surprised!

I usually love Daube's bakery but was disappointed today. I bought 2 cakes, one for my sister-in-laws birthday and one for father's day. I asked for them to write on each of them. The writing looked like a ten year old wrote it. Sad to think that I spend $60.00 on two cakes that I'm NOT proud to present to guests.

Delicious baked breakfast goods. We come here for donuts regularly because the pastries are delicious!

Driving by, you can tell it's an authentic family bakery. We stopped in and ordered a variety of pastries, but also noticed to good looking savory sandwiches, quiches, and pasta salads. The donuts we tried were great, the pie was delicious, but it was the éclair that made us speechless. Unreal. By far, the best eclair either of us has ever tasted. Service was quick and friendly. If I lived nearby, I would easily weigh another 50 lbs.

Employees were not very friendly or welcoming so I choose not to purchase the items I had gone in to buy. I had planned to buy several things because I heard of how wonderful the place was. But once I entered and was not greeted, decided to go elsewhere. I plan to go again and hope the experience will be more positive.

They didn't have what I wanted and the employees had very little knowledge of the products they were offering.

While writing this makes me hungry for a Daube's donut! What a wonderful bakery - there's a great selection of cakes, cookies, donuts, ect. We love the Raspberry, lemon cake! Another favorite is the carrot cake. As far as donuts - you can't go wrong. My favorite are the mini long johns! There is also coffee, tea and some sandwich selections. It's great to support a local business like Daube's!

I had heard of Daube's so thought I would try it. It was easy to find and had nice parking lot. I received a friendly greeting and was waited on in a friendly manner. The lady that waited on me was very knowledgeable and helped me get my order to a table. The sweets reminded me of my German grandmother's baking. Will stop by again when I am in town

Food is always fantastic. Ham and swiss was awesome with a mini long John to go with it. Perfect breakfast. Little more expensive but the food is delicious!

There's an old country song called "Heaven's Just a sin away" That could be here. They are known for their carrot cake. I think I got everything else but. Date fig bars, cupcakes, sour dough bread, kolachis, lemon and red lemon bars, piroshi. You just want to keep grabbing with no stop button. We got there about 15 minutes before they closed, making the time pass very quickly for the nice gal behind the counter. Handy bathrooms up front for the long way home.

Best apple fritters in the Midwest! They’ve got great texture, slightly crisp and a smooth glaze with a moist apple cinnamon inside.

I've always wanted to stop here when I'm in Rochester for appointments. Today we stopped and my daughter got a iced sugar cookie (very beautiful) and then I got a strawberry filled doughnut. It was good but my fingers were so greasy it was a turn off. My daughters cookie was buttery and crumbly. They had pretzels and French bread that looked amazing. Maybe next time I'll go for some bread!

Good small town style bakery with cafe. Good prices on small items. The cakes are fancy but an 8in was about $30. They have warm items for lunch too like Sheppard's pie or pie etc.

This is by far the best bakery I have been to and I have traveled around the world. It is a small, but comfortable place with the Best Long-johns you can get, they have amazing wedding cakes and birthday cakes.

Daube's is always delicious and a Rochester staple. I enjoy the S'more donut. Their mini donuts are the perfect size for kids. My husband loves their chocolate chip cookies.
