Wow! This place is amazing. We are in town to visit Mayo Clinic for our annual Executive Physicals. I had never heard of this store. I was looking on Google for a place to pick up some active wear for my husband. I saw this store and he said he’d heard good things. So, off we went. This is right up there with LLBean in Freeport and REI in Seattle. First stop was gear for my husband. Found some great Vuori. Excellent customer service from Steve! Next to pick up some gear for me since we were there and the merchandise selection is excellent. Steve brought us a shopping cart and escorted us to the women’s section with a handoff to Felicia Fenske. Again, excellent service! Felicia Fenske brought me so many hand selected options, listening to my preferences. I found 9 items that I love. Once finished, I mentioned I wanted to look at swimwear. I am a baby boomer and my body shows it. Felicia Fenske helped me find two suits in record time. The variety of clothing and quality of merchandise is amazing. This is a rare find in today’s world. As we checked out, Ashton, the young man who was our cashier was efficient and friendly. Ashton, you are exceptional in making conversation. Thank you to Scheels, Steve, Felicia Fenske, Ashton and every employee who greeted us with a smile today. We are grateful for your service. We only came in for one or two t-shirts and left with 20 articles of clothing. Such a great experience!! Thank you again for your excellent service!

I had a deeply upsetting experience here today when I attempted to exchange a pair of defective shoes. Instead of being assisted like any other customer, I was immediately met with suspicion. The employee looked at my item and asked, “Are you sure you bought that? It looks expensive.” Then called the “manager “ who then took my receipt to the back to look it up but I could clearly see him just standing around. This was not only insulting but completely unnecessary. I had my receipt and followed the store’s exchange policy, yet I was treated as if I didn’t belong or couldn’t afford my own purchase. I noticed other customers making returns without being questioned in this way, which made the situation feel even more targeted.No customer should be judged based on their appearance.

i Recently wiped out in front of total wine, as to not hit a shopper walking in from a front parking space with my front tire shifting the neck of my bicycle to the 25-30* right of the tire, getting 6 stitches above my left eyebrow, the bike i turned in for repair was my Only bicycle, the Scheels employees here knowing me to be Extremely POOR Monthly fixed my bicycle and filled my tires Free, i have been Unemployed but for temp work, with discounted Amazon prime and i live on $108.08 a month after Foster care board.

My son was waiting in line for the batting cage for 30+ minutes today. Once he was at the front of the line, the employees completely ignored him and let not one, not two, but three people jump ahead of him without any acknowledgment. It was as if my son was invisible. Just blatantly rude and inconsiderate. We then needed to leave because we ran out of time. It was a disappointing experience to say the least.

I usually love Scheels. A lot. However, while shopping for new shoes, the associates were making fun of customers while on the floor. They must have thought I couldn't hear them. Very disappointing.

Recently, I was trying to buy boots that I saw online, but the size I wanted was not at the store and needed to be ordered. It did take a while for help on this, but I also realize that it was only a few days before Christmas. The sales guy was really helpful and helped look up the information for the order. My boots came, but didn't fit exactly, so when I came back to exchange them, my customer service was Awesome. Josh did a great job gathering the information and guiding me to a great exchange experience even though there was a huge line behind me. He didn't let that distract from getting the process done. Now I have the boots for the sale price and they fit. Good job!
