Horribly unreliable internet. Multiple outages per year that are several hours long each. I have lived in multiple places using spectrum internet and have never had a good experience

When trying to figure things out to return equipment the employees were very rude. It's ridiculous that you need an appointment to return equipment. There's not typically appointments available when you are a teacher. I've attempted to do this 3 times without success.

Worst internet provider of all time. Constantly throttles service and charges more money than all other companies. Speed test with charger is less than 5, and with 5G it’s 200. It’s crazy.

Currently trying to leave spectrum because they suck. Had the guy on the phone attempt to manipulate me to staying with their company. When I arrived at the store to return their items I was told I didn't have the complete set. When I asked what I was missing in as told "we can't tell you what your missing". Must be part of their tactic to make it impossible to leave them. Beyond frustrated. Not at all regretting leaving this company. Save yourself the migraine and DONT CHOOSE SPECTRUM!!!

We got a message on the phone stating that my 40% discount is expiring and we are to call and renew the discount. I called a minute later and was told the 49% discount expired and the fella from India told me there are only 2 discounts available. One is an agreement for 3 years at a fixed $60/mo. The only catch is that you have to pay 12 months in advance. After pressing him, it turns out that they can increase the "fixed" rate after that year. So, it's not "fixed" for 3 years.
The other option is a 2 yr signed contract for $ 99.97/mo. Or do nothing, and it automatically goes up to about $150/mo. He then said that the 2 year contract option doesn't "fix" the price, and it too would go up 5-6 months as well. I put him in a corner and insisted he repeat himself because he hadn't said anything about that prepayment on the contract option. He then said that he might have misspokee.
He wanted immediate payment though we had already paid for this billing cycle. He couldn't get by that to our satisfaction. We ended with his promise to email me the contract so I can go through it. He said to check my email in an hour. That was now 5 hours ago. So NO. NOT HAPPY. Can't trust the customer service so I now have to go in person to resolve this. I will be taking my modem with me so I can end my service. We'll just run off our unlimited 5G on our phones and shut their crap service down.

I'd have rated 0-⭐ if doable. Spectrum's moral has gone after my >2 decades with it (started as Charter) including the frequent hypes of rate over the recent years. Not long ago, called them up and got a promotion plan. Shockingly, they altered the terms unilaterally in order to discontinue the offer and completely changed the story when asked despite I have the phone conversation recording as proof, as well as their own recording. They just blatantly disregarded it! Wow, never had such an experience with any business! Not mention the frequent connection jams and also outages, sadly the Co. has evolved to the downside, no wonder the overwhelming 1-⭐ reviews. What's happening in there??

Needed a new remote for our living room TV. Went to the store signing in at the computer by entrance. Waited for 20 minutes got the remote. Went followed directions got remote compatible with my TV would not recognize the cable box. Went back to store given a new remote told must be a bad remote given a different one. Went home wouldn’t work. Went back a third time given a remote and new box. Remote wouldn’t work with box . Went back a 4th time told I needed to sign in. I said this is my 4th trip to the store on a minor issue. Went home steaming got on text support . Hold down OK + menu blinks twice hit number 2. It works. These 3 guys need to be told they need to know more than how to sell cell phones there is a whole box of remotes their not set up for customers And they don't have a clue !! Half a tank of gas later and very rude uneducated employees who don't care about 30 year customers and don't have time to help. Another reason to be passed about Charter.
