“Tony was great. We visited to check out a Urtopia Joy Carbon electric bike. Tony reviewed all the features of the bike with us, contrasted features and design choices with other models, went over available accessories, set us up for a test ride, and sold us on two bikes. My wife had a blast zipping around the building and loved the ride. We are retired, achy, and are excited about resuming bike riding to increase our activity for our health. “I recently came back to the Twin Cities to empty out a storage unit, which included needing to ship my beloved vintage Schwinn. I had had a really terrible week--between the difficulties of moving and an unexpected family death, I was really worn out. I was short on time too and pretty desperate to find someone who could box it for me and help me ship it. The first shop I tried was dismissive and told me the bike wasn't worth the trouble but Grand Performance immediately treated me and my love for my bicycle with respect and kindness. They couldn't box it that day but offered to take it and box it later for a BikeFlights shipment. They had such knowledgeable things to say about that era of Schwinns and when I apologized for it not being worth much, they affirmed that my attachment to it was worth enough (worth everything, actually, is what they said). That this is a racing shop is an even greater testament to how they treat everyone who comes through their door, no matter who they are and what kind of bicycle they have. You don't have to know anything about bikes or own something fancy to be welcomed here. This is how a bike shop should be and I can't thank them enough for their help that day.”

“Coffe shop/Bike Shope. Large tea selection. Fun shop located inside Union Depot in downtown St. Paul. Seating are outside the shop inside the Union Depost in the first floor. Friendly service. Regular traffic. Somewhat quiet if you needed to work. Great spot to wait if your Amtrak is delayed.”
