“I cannot believe how wonderful my short experience was with this store and the employees! I had a Specialized racing bike that was in storage for about 3 years. I wanted it tuned so I thought about bringing it to the store I purchased it from. Then I read the reviews of that place in Woodbury and was shocked at how bad the ratings were. You can see online for yourself. I've never seen such bad ratings from so many people. I decided I wasn't going to chance it. I called Bike King. From the second they answered the phone they were friendly and advised I could get my bike in right away. I hauled it to them, and the staff were fantastic. They guy that helped me (I never got his name) was super friendly and we ended up chatting for a bit. It was done that same day. When I went back, another employee retrieved my bike right away, and it looked great. Super friendly staff. Super pricing for tune ups. Everything was just a great experience for such a minor transaction. Customer service is so bad nowadays everywhere, Bike King is an exception. Thank you for the great service and you have a new, life-long customer for all my (and my families) cycling needs! Way more than 5 stars is deserved!”
“I brought my bike in to have the hydraulic disc brakes looked at. Another bike shop had recently "serviced" my brakes, but the braking power didn't feel right after a couple visits for "adjustments" to the brakes, so I brought the bike into Bicycle Chain for a second opinion. I talked to Matt, who explained to me what the problems might be and that he would take a look at it. He seemed extremely knowledgeable and helpful, so I left the bike with him to troubleshoot the issue. He emailed me later that day to let me know that the bike was ready to go. I thought that was amazing given that my "regular" shop usually took a few days to fix something, and that was after I had made an appointment days in advance. When I came by the shop to pick up my bike, Matt explained to me what he did to fix the issue. I tested the brakes and was very happy and amazed by the results. The brakes felt better than they did when I bought the bike 3 years ago!! I VERY HIGHLY recommend the Bicycle Chain for service. Matt and the rest of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and VERY helpful. Bicycle Chain will definitely be my "go-to" shop in the future. I don't care that it's twice as far away. “Visited this store few times and was impressed with the selection of bikes, accessories and clothing they have.Unfortunately I did buy my bike from a different dealer and had many issues that resulted in not using my new bike very much in the first year.When I finally got my bike back Freewheelwent through it to make sure everything was good to go, they did find some issues and loose bolts.With problems I had with my new bike I was also talking to a Trek representative which also were very good to deal with.Just glad I had 2 other bikes to ride last summer while waiting for this one to be repaired correctly. (Not a problem from Freewheel)Don't forget to join their (Fanatics) program and save some $$$$$”

“Very happy with this bike shop which mostly I visit for once or twice a year I catch a nail and need a tube change. The last experience was great with such quick service on a Saturday and charged me less than $12, which is ridiculously cheap compared to other brick-and-mortar shops in St Paul.”
