Great variety of classes and multiple offerings a day. I've really enjoyed the teachers I've had in classes.

Another stop on my tour de fitness via ClassPass this month, and this CorePower location left some to be desired. I've been to other CorePower locations in the past and enjoyed the tough workout, so thought I'd try this location in SLP. I was excited when I saw they had a parking lot, but quickly saw how tiny and full it was, leaving me searching across Excelsior for a street spot. Crossing that intersection is terrifying! I've been warmly greeted at other studios, but that was not the case on this particular day here. The instructor and other front desk worker just looked at me, and when I said it was my first time at this location, didn't give me any direction. When I asked which of the rooms the sculpt class would be in, the instructor seemed annoyed that I was asking. There is a locker room with a few showers, bathroom stalls and lockers - but note you have to bring your own lock. The CorePower ads throughout the locker room give off a corporate vibe. The room is HOT - be prepared! This class was pretty packed and already steaming up the mirrors. The Yoga Sculpt class is pretty cardio-intensive, with weights and yoga postures as well. It got so hot at one point I had to step out for a minute, and I've done quite a bit of hot yoga! The combo of cardio, weights, and humidity got to me. But I got a hardcore sweat and workout in! The instructor wasn't quite my style: she sang all of the instructions and didn't provide modifications. None of the class takers replied to her questions or call-outs, and it didn't feel like there was much community between members. Some folks left early, and there wasn't a clear system for cleaning the weights - they all just got put back on the pile. The lack of parking and welcoming spirit will probably keep me from returning to this location, sadly.

Great instructor, she discussed my low back issues with me and allowed me to modify the class to my specific needs. Highly recommended all of the studios locations!

Professionalism I walked in with my mask on and nose and mouth covered- Barry the studio manager told me it wasn't high enough over my nose (in the locker room) so I switched to a larger cloth mask and pulled it up over my nose. Then in the middle of class he came up to my mat while I was practicing, in front of everyone in class, and said I would have to leave class because it wasn't fully covering the bottom of my chin! Somehow he spotted this "problem" from far across the room. Perhaps it wasn't fully covering the bottom of my chin because I had to pull it up so far over my nose to please him on the locker room. Anyways. His behavior was inappropriate. He ruined my yoga class but not the rest of my day. I realized while I was doing yoga that it really wasn't about my mask being one centimeter this way or one centimeter that way; It wasn't even about me. It was about him and his issues and not me. This wasn't the first time I've has issues with with Barry the manager at the St Lous Park. Ok Obviously he doesn't like me. But it's never appropriate to act that way during class and In front of people; Coming up to me in class while I was practicing and while my mouth and nose were fully covered by my mask. Seems the manager Barry has some issues. Yoga practice doesn't seem to be helping him cope. Whenever I walk in he suddenly becomes an expert in mask placement. I should mention I've never had this problem at other studios where I've always been treated kindly and professionally.

FRAUD: They just denied paying with a membership with a gift card which is illegal. Says no where on the card that it can't be used for memberships and they just charged my GF another $160. pathetic.

When people are getting kicked in the face, you should probably put a cap on your classes. Not a safe environment.
